Default 12bet - shocking bookie.. Stay away!

I had a bet on over 3 goals for Molde v Start game yesterday and the decimal odds was 1.77. I am %100 sure it was 1.77 while I was placing my bet.

After the game had enough goals for my bet to win, I logged in to see if they updated my bet but I have just realised that the odd was changed to 2.77!

I got an email today telling me the bet was voided due to wrong odds. I didn't have a screenshot since I never thought something like could happen but I have just checked some odds comparison websites that the odds were never 2.77!

I placed my bet 13 minutes before the game and you can see that the odd was 1.77 then.

I have heard that 12bet is not a good one for smart punters as they have some funny limits after a few winning bets and I never thought that they could be that lowly.

I suspect you were actually looking at odds in the default MY or HK format where 1.77 is the equivalent of 2.77 in decimal format

No mate my default odds option is decimals and it always shows me the decimals. Anyway looking at those odds comparison websites, the odds were never 2.77.

Some silly bookmakers do such edits to prevent withdrawals. Mybet edited my friends birthday date and he was never able to verify his account there!

As I recall there is an option to automatically accept a better odds at 12bet so there should not be a problem.

2.77 is better then 1.77 so why aren't you happy?

    OP claims he accepted 1.77
12Bet claims he accepted 2.77 which was a palpable error and thus voided the bet
So instead of being on a winner at 1.77 he only got his stake back

Never had any troubles with them, but they're the worst of the IBCbet family.

I checked this game. It is clearly Tudes7 is telling the truth. http://txodds.com/ocpage.php?type=oc...14048&topbar=1

Tudes. Send this link from tx odds to 12 bet and tell them it was never showed 2.70.(it was clearly 1.70) I think this is terrible behaviour from 12 bet. It seems correct as Tudes7 says.

was satisfied with 12bet when used it. no problem grading big wins, always automatic.

I have this dispute. If I can confirm the players' facts, this is extremely troubling.

I place bets at 12bet every day for almost half a year now and I've never had any problems with them. Their live chat support seem to be the most courteous out of all the asian bookies I have.

In any case - oddsportal doesn't always catch every odd from 12bet. When odds are changing at 12bet - they flash in red and oddsportal doesn't catch the odds until they stop blinking red/changing (I suspect that is when they push it out in xml or whichever method they use to publish).

Sometimes those odds would jump even .2 or .3 higher than normal before settling down - especially on lower leagues - but I've never seen or heard of a whole 1.0 jump. If they accepted a bet at 2.77 instead of 1.77 - then it was definitely an error on their part. Check you statement - maybe the bet is still there with the accepted odds.

I can't stress enough - that people should always make screenshots of their bets. There are many extensions for firefox that would automatically make a screenshot of a webpage at a click of a button. I do that after every bet. In las vegas you get a printed receipt... on the web you don't - so protect yourself anyway you can.

In any case - I hope this gets resolved to the OP's satisfaction - 12b should at least pay out at the original 1.77 odds. I'd be worried if they didn't since I think they're a fairly decent outfit.

Are there any sites that have every odds change for 12bet?

@horja1, yes I asked them to update it with the right odds which is 1.77 but they say ''The Company reserves the right to reverse settlement in the Event of a Market being settled in error.''

@DIF, yes mate you can copy it. Actually I would be happy with that.

@jairocon, I am %100 sure that it was 1.77 when I was placing my bet and since I never thought something like that could happen, I didn't take a screenshot but if you know any other odds comparison websites, that would help me a lot. Oddsportal and txodds says I am right since it was 1.77 13 minutes before the game started and it was never 2.77.

Justin: None that I know of. www.oddsportal.com is usually best, but I can confirm that they don't catch every odds change, especially if lines move very quick. For example, if you place a bet, and the odds drop by .05, and you place another bet, and the odds again drop by .05, Oddsportal will consolidate it to a single drop of .10. By the way, 12Bet, like numerous other asian books, all use IBCBet software and odds, and their wager grading system seems to be centralized (they all grade at the same time), but if they want to, they can individually control how wagers are graded. There was a dispute with rather unknown book SINGBET where they cancelled winning wagers, just do a google search for it. So I guess it would be technically possible to pull off something like that on purpose.

By the way, I side with the OP here. I have placed thousands of bets with books using IBCBet odds, and I never encountered a bad line whatsoever. Their software seems to be very robust, and odds updates are all automatic, no human input which could cause bad lines. On the other hand, 12Bet might not be exactly pro friendly, but they're a serious company and always pay, I can't imagine them pulling off something like that.

oddsportal is as close as it gets - I don't know any better site for odds comparison. It wouldn't even make sense for 12bet to jump to 2.77 as it would instantly produce a huge arb against other books - and asians almost never produce arb opportunities against other asians or against pinna. As it was mentioned here - their software seems to be top notch for odds changes - they're usually amongst the first to initiate odds increases or decreases - but 2.77 vs 1.77 is just out of this world.

I use 12bet for 4 years now and I never had a single problem with them. This looks like a seriuos issue but if they really took your bet @2,77 then it's definitely a mistake and they can void the bet.

certainly they can void the bet but in fairness ought to have offered him the bet at the correct price which he believes he did accept

the problem is - how will he prove it? OP - do you have correct (lower) odd registered on bet ticket in history? if yes, you will have the case. if not - i guess the bet wasnt made. i doubt they would manually change it
