Evebet - Black listed, frauder thieves! Stay away!
I deposited to this bookie with C&B, I'd like to share my experience.... it's a new bookie, and the design is too "tawdry", with english gramatical errors ("Who will win the 2st set" and similars), with unswitchable annoying sounds (I have to turn off my speakers). They are based in Philippines, like the asians bookies usually.
Yesterday I bet in live, tennis, Azarenka to win the 1st set... She won the 1st set, but later she retired in the 2nd set. They settled my bet after 12 hours (!) waiting.. and they voided it! Becuase "In our rules, Set betting: The full number of sets required to win the match must be achieved."
I wrote to them it's not the same bet like example Federer to win 3-0 against Nadal.. but for God's sake. If I took Federer to win 1st set, and he wins the 1st set, and Nadal retires in the 3rd set... why the hell would you void it? The 1st set is already decided! Is there one more bookie in the world who has this (censored) and unfair rule?
Also I'm sure in live betting they are following the odds of bet365 (only the tennis, basketball, rugby, snooker, ice hockey bets.. not the soccer). Always the exact odds, and when bet365 close some bets, Evebet will close the same bets as well....
And a strange thing ... Evebet writes on their page they are member of IBAS... I have visited webpage of IBAS, and I did not find Evebet..
I forgot the best thing.. They have live chat, and once they asked my username... (I gave it).... then my password! (WTF?).... I replied why the (censored) would I give my password... he apologized, but I don't know... I would not recommend this bookie.

I had lucky some on the weekend, and I don't want to keep much money here, so I wanted to withdraw my half balance.
I can withdraw my money only with bank transfer... I filled the bank account field with my IBAN, I'm sure they won't accept it (I had the same problem at 188bet, but finally I received my money).. on the remark box I wrote my SWIFT.
Error message : "Your Money of drawing-out application too bigger.con't over 1,000. "
They accept bets up to 50000 USD, but on one day, they process only 1000. Hmm, I think it's strange.
OK, I tried with 1000.. another error message : ".We do not operate payout on Sat and Sunday .(Notice will be given before regular holiday). "
This bookie a (censored) joke..
And of course I have pay fee (why not?) 10 EUR at a withdrawal. I want to withdraw 3000 EUR, so I think I have to pay 30 EUR, just because I wanted to withdrawal my money.
It seems this bookie does not like if somebody wants to withdraw.

And the newest thing.
Live tennis event, Schüttler vs Kunitsyn, 1st set.... Schüttler took his serve game, then broke the opponent, so the result was 2:0 By this time I took under 9.5 games 1st set, with odds 2.20 Thirty seconds later all bets were closed, and remained closed until the end of the match. Schüttler brought the set with 6:2, but after the 1st set, they cancelled my bet. Their live chat said : because we lost our internet connection (oh yes.. best explanation I have ever heard..... then how could I place my bet?)
My opinion : stay away from this bookie.

I thought it's the main topic. Can you forward it? Or should I open a new thread there?

My first impression would be that the entire match must be completed in order for it to be graded accordingly Teddy.

You refer to my 1st bet? Gamebookers had the same rule in 2003, but later changed it. Does anybody know one more bookie who has this unfair rule?
Example, their basketball rule : "The relevant quarter/1st half must be completed for bets to have action. If a game did not complete but the quarter did, bets on the quarter are valid. "
Why valid the 1st quarter bet? And why not valid the completed 1st set bet? If my bet is Federer to win 1st set, he wins, then 3 hours later Nadal retires in the 5th set, I don't know why should void my bet.

"Your Money of drawing-out application too bigger.con't over 1,000. ".....
Maybe it's just me, but when a sportsbook has the preceeding come up as an error message, let's just say that I wouldn't exactly be brimming with confidence regarding their legitimacy.....
"Lost our internet connection" would also be high on my list of "Things I hope I never hear from my sportsbook".....

I wrote a review about this bookmaker a few months back and i thought the whole experience was that of a new not run so good book. I agree it says the max bet is $50,000 but yet the maximum they take is £1,000. Ive not had any problems with them for over a month or so. I stay away from the live betting, 25 seconds is just stupid. But overall im down there.

They take £1500 stakes for me. Maybe it's manual review - I'm about level there.
I've noticed a few of their ads (eg at flashscore), so it seems they have a fair sized budget.

Based in the Philippines? How are they regulated, if at all? How stable is the government over there? How many other books from there have a proven track record?

There are a fair few books over there - eg sbobet are huge. I've had dozens of payouts from evebet also, always the next day, so that's not an issue either.

They have dropped my limits from £1000 to £200 a bet. So much in trying to be a asian bookmaker. Im so glad 188bet, 12Bet, SBObet and Mansion88 dont limit players.

The Philippines are one of the few asian countries where betting is officially legal. Therefore most asian sportsbooks have their residence there.

Yesterday i bet in my account with Evebet 3 differents bets on mexican basketball...
all 3 bets are winng bet , but when i looked in my account i saw that one of these bets was void:
Here i wrote the bet:
439585 2008-12-03 02:11:19.0 2008-12-03 12:46:52.0 Handicap Basketball Bravos Vs. Panteras de Aguascalientes Match Time: 2008-12-03 10:00
Pick: Panteras de Aguascalientes -11.5 @ 1.93 Bet Result : Member money has return,
this bets inefficacy
This the resul of the match :
02 Dic, 2008 Ags,Ags.Panteras 112 - Bravos 60
So immediadly i contacted the customer service to know the reason why they void this bet and the operator told me only this words : the bet was void because was Wrong...
Beacuse was wrong...So they have the right to cancel any kind of bets if they decide that some bets can be wrong...
I wrote yesterday some e -mails to office@evebet.com because i really want to know the rasons that they can cancel a bet but till now no kind of answer...
So if is this the behaviour from them please, stay away from this book...

They voided the wager on the grounds you were wrong when indeed you have proof it was a winner?
Please feel free to fill out a complaint form with your details and one of us will inquire on your behalf in order to find out the books side of the story sir.

They voided this bet only after match result, not before...
They don't give me any reasons...They only told this : " Odd was wrong"..
I've already sent the complaint form to your site about what's happened...

regarding that TENNIS rule
I cant say why EVE-bet has that rule - i do not know that company. But i think it's the same reason why european companies went the same way years ago...
The betting rule "The full number of sets required to win the match must be achieved" is simply to protect the bookie against "fixed" matches. Often all tennis bets, not only the set-betting, have been affected by this rule. It happens, that a tennis player decided to join a tournament just because of the "Starting-fee" - but is not interested in playing good tennis there. Sometimes a tennisplayer booked his ticket at 8 am on a matchday to leave in the afternoon - maybe to reach next tournament in time. So, the "sportsman" has to invent a creative strategy to reach the airport in time. Mostly the matches on that days are ending "walk over".
Bad for the Bookies, because it´s sure money. Few of these matches can damage all the profits of the whole mounth. I remember that in 2003 a lot of european bookies lost a lot of money due to this "fixed" games. The Books had to protect their business - so this rule was born, especially for Tennis. One Problem was, that the public does not want to realize that tennis is one of the "infected" sports regarding unsportsmanlike habit. So some of that books lost a lot of customers because they have been unable to communicate this reasons clearly.
Like always with that kind of regulations, honest bettors seem to be behind the 8-ball. IMO its a zero-sub game. But due to discontentment of the fair customers (and also due to high self-confidence), some books decided to change the rule again and get rid of the fraud player.
IMO one of the reasons why european books have been sliding into the poor "practice" to ban or limit winning players in that excessive way.
So, to compare this rule with rules for other sports (like BB) just seem to be relevant at the first moment. But it's not.
 just my thoughts,

That's them saying it was a bad line.
Unfortunately, what they define as a bad line is "the odds moved a lot after you placed your bet"

When i bet the line was -11.5 for panteras..
At same time Pinnacle had the line -12...
Maybe it moved the line.. i really don't know...But sure at moment i bet the line was the same that in other books...
One book cannot cancel a bet only because the line was moved a lot after somebody place a bet....
I agree with you...
I'll withdraw my balance and i'll stay away from this book...

Yeah, that doesn't matter to them. If it moves a bundle and they end up with an heavily unbalanced book on an event as a result, they manage it by voiding.

If all books would have this kind of behaviour , for a normal player would be impossilble to play...
Because a player could not know when a bet should be valid or void ...
And i repeat that they voided my bets only after the end of the match...
So they have had not one but two different dishonest behaviors...
Fortunately this case it happend with Evebet that is not a reputable book...There are so many books in the world to use and that they have a correct behavior...
