Default Matchbook & IE7....?

Anyone else had problems w/the homepage loading w/errors using IE7? I am trying to start using Matchbook again but they don't have their act together w/Firefox 3.0 or Safari.....I can log in but the cashier will not load properly w/Firefox or Safari.

With IE7 I get no login boxes when the homepage loads.........I have tried enabling all activeX & scripting crap that I can find, also added Matchbook to trusted sites & shut down my firewall with no luck. It is obviously a setting somewhere.

Had a buddy try it on his pc using IE7 & homepage also loaded w/errors.

What is the deal........?

I take it that you've contacted Matchbook regarding this subject already?

To be honest with you I don't know what the problem is. Hopefully some SBR reader/poster can answer this question for you though.

Matchbook does not use ActiveX. It does, however, use AJAX/JavaScript.

On IE7 try going to Tools => Internet Options => Security Tab and then select the Internet "Zone" appropriate to Matchbook. (If you've truly added it as a Trusted Site, that designation should appear on the lower right hand side of your IE7 status bar.) Then trying setting the security level for that zone to "low".

If that works you know it's one of the settings modified when switching to low security. You can then try switching them all one-by-one to see which setting it was that was causing you the problem.

Personally, I have no problems using Matchbook with IE7.

BBD, I have contacted Matchbook with no help from them at all.

Ganchrow,
Yeah, I had already lowered the trusted zone as low as it can go, & matchbook.com is listed in my trusted zone as well & appears in the status bar as such.
I know you're up on programming it seems, does the following error mean anything to you?
IE7 error description reads:
'MBFrame.getHorizontalFrame().document' is null or not an object

Thanks for the input though. I ended up having to re-install Firefox 2.0 for matchbook & I'm running that along side of 3.0......what a hassle.

Never had any other issue w/IE7 before......weird. I'm gonna try to figure it out because it is pissing me off immensely.

I had a similar problem and finally figured out it was due to my firewall (Computer Associates). I turned my firewall alert event notification on. I then accessed matchbook and when all the alerts kept popping up, I clicked to allow them and have had no trouble sense. Good luck.

Well there's your problem. You're hitting the URL of what would be the main frame (http://www.matchbook.com/homePage.jsp?mod=3430). There are no login boxes because they aren't displayed within that frame.

Try the main page at http://www.matchbook.com/. That should do it.
