    Tell Me What you know about Marathonbet

    Here is what I have found so far Gentlemen.

    This Macedonian/Russian website shares there domain with many others, which you can find here. From what I can tell they are a medium/average book with the only currency being accepted is Russian Rouble's. Also, Marathonbet joined the [SBRFORUM]Cake Poker Network[/SBRFORUM] back in late January, 2008. They also don't accept Moneybookers, have low limits, and not very friendly to most player by the way of not many languages.

    Please if you have played and or currently playing with them. I'd love to here about your experiences you have had with them.

    Marathonbet - the largest Russian sportsbook. They do not accept moneybookers, but accept webmoney - russian e-cash. Limits on bets - from 100 (often) to 10 000 (seldom) usd. They accept - russian, ukrain, Byelorussian currency.

    I'd venture a guess that they offer lines on running events, ie Boston Marathon, NY Marathon.

    Maybe you have to complete a marathon in order to receive a payout.

    I was also wondering if you might know how the payouts are at this establishment currently as well as time delays, limit collaring, and other things of that nature?

    I use for payments webmoney and cash at offices. The marathonbet has about 800 offices on all countries. Payments on webmoney (max - 100 usd ) - in a current of 24 hours, cash - the next working day.
    The sportsbook offers very much a wide choice of bets, very extensive live-betting. On the majority of the errors the sportsbook is ready to pay. Time of reaction of a support - about 1-3 hours. It is not publicly allowed to open some accounts on relatives.

    My English is bad - therefore I have not absolutely understood that means "collaring".

    Quickly. After cut limits the maximum becomes 35 usd. But on interesting matches (champions league, euro or world cup footbal) are ready to accept and to 10 000 usd from the cut account. For opening of accounts on relatives of problems at anybody was not. In live-betting limits are not cut. Confirming time live-betting of 5-10 seconds.

    It's simple. Marathon - is one of the best, one of the smartest bookmaker in the world.
    All russian players play in Marathon and BetCity. All other bookmakers have far far less value.
    And really from all other world who can be compared to Marathon for us? Pin, sbo, 188... 5d, bodog ... well, elite level.
    Choosing from this two russians - Marathon is something about A, A+. BetCity - B.

    Marathon is not afraid of even very strong players because Marathon's traiders are able to create and defend very strong line. ("Pro" can maybe give them more profit ;-))
    BetCity have weaker line and are afraid of pro (like usual european gay-bookies), they will limit you if you are pro. It's difference.
    This two both are safe (and fast to superfast) with payments.

    Maybe you will not see very huge limits in Marathon.
    But it's usual line defense, very likely every Marathon customer will see the same that moment.
    And those limits restore in time, sometimes instantly.

    Well. Cause i wrote the previous message i have to say now.
    Now it's not that simple.

    Marathon is uniting with Panbet and trying to adapt Panbet software right now (strange decision, considering the fact Panbet looked like a piece of s..t comparing to Marathonbet).

    So this time i can't advise anybody to be Marathon customer. Now the time to wait and watch - what are they transforming to...

    ps there are some changes for example..
    plus Neteller as payment option, but we have worse lines so we have to wait how the things will go on in the near future

    I signed up with Fonbet, played with them, pretty decent sight. I then tried to sign up with the site Marathonbet, but can't speak or read Russian so i had to pass on them. I was told by them that they would be adding English to their site and that was a while ago.

    I played marathonbet many years. Now they are very sour. After winning several sports betting limit is lowered to a few dollars. Often not correctly calculated bets (in their favor). Support service meets rarely and does not solve any problems. The site they have a terrible and often knocks the bugs. Many players are gone from them. All this can be read on the Russian-language forum byw.ru. Perhaps they will soon be closed.In general I do not advise to play there.

    Ok I read all this staff and cannot believed...my English is very poor but I will try to say this

    Yes they have crazy limits lot of times,max winning on some major tennis turnaments are about 40-50$ and than you have challenger or ITF and there you can win 300-500$,i dont understand this.

    Marathonbet and clone book Panbet.
    When you open an account your limits will be decent, and you will be able to get some edgy lines, even some great % arbs.
    After some bets (the number varies depending on your action) you re limited to about 10% of your initial limits, which still allow you to bet few hundreds. But after lets say 40 of those sharp bets you ll be limited to useless amount.
    You can take advantage of both bookmakers if you give them 2nd e-mail, etc.

    haven't played there for a month or two, but:
    they take moneybookers
    their MB payouts were quicker than pinny's, within secnds
    For today's Chelsea game they take 8.7 K - limit on the lower leagues are of course lower
    I noticed that they have really above the market prices on many occasions - that might be a warning, or not?
    Very good book IMO, maybe I wouldn't keep my bankroll there

    They accept Moneybookers now.Early days for me - not limited yet.Not sure how the VIP button works - perhaps it alerts a trader who can accept larger bets at their discretion.

    I am very cautious when it comes to betting a new bookie which i dont know much about but at this moment I am very surprised. PRetty big limits and very competitive prices.

    Tried a cashout it took literally 1 minute or so be on my moneybookers account. Will never put too much on the site but so far it seems fine
