Default Bookmaker Can't Be A Plus Book

They offer a free payout when a certain number of bonus points is reached. I reached that number and requested a free payout. When I called Customer Service it was explained to me that the free payout was only for MG and not checks. Well I can't use MG because the payout is for $1,850 No where does it say that free payouts are for MG only. The manager cited some bullshit that I never saw before. It just pisses me off that the have this great rating. What a joke!

All that stuff is spelled out in their terms, so unsure you really can be too angry with them. I mean, sometimes the fine print is what you have to refer to before making these kinds of decisions. You could have withdrew a little less and used MG for free.

MG was not a viable option because only 1 payout is permitted per week and the max is $1000. I won and now I want to get paid. I'd rather pay the $50 fee than wait a week to recieve the additional funds. I'm sure it's spelled out somewhere, but it wasn't spelled out on the bonus page and is extrememly misleading.

Yep, Bookmaker's payout terms are not very player-friendly. Even if you make a point of reading and fully understanding them (which people should before sending their money there), they aren't good. They gouge pretty good on the fees.

I agree that they're not an A+ book. There is only one A+ book (Pinnacle).

But if you look at it from SBR's grading-on-a-curve mentality, I feel they are where they belong with respect to other books.

Good post Mudcat. My expectations were higher than they should of been. At this point, I have only 2 criterias for a good book. 1) GETTING PAID 2) GETTING PAID PROMPTLY. So far, Bookmaker has done that. Hopefully it will continue.

Last year I made a thousand dollar bet on New England -17 over Cincy and won through Bookmaker. They sent me a check 30 days later and I have never bet with them again.

Unfortunately I might be facing the same problem with BODOG now but I am not sure?

Bookmaker sucks they have HUGE spreads in all of there lines. One of the worst (hardest) places to win at because they have the biggest spread. Also very small limits call in a 300 dollar bet for soccer? 300 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! C/S is rude and payouts are a nightmare.

Bookmaker is valuable for betting on soft opening lines, but once lines are up elsewhere, they become pretty much useless unless you are a whale. You do get an occasional good price on MLB totals there though.

my biggest beef with them is they wanted to charge me 100 to transfer 500 to bjam;; \
doesnt bjam do all this for free?

having said that my first priority is still quick payouts;; i can sweat the rest;; ie i just cancelled the transfer ;;
