I also submitted a Las Palmas complaint an hour or so ago.

Las Palmas hasn't responded to emails from me either.

I did get a phone call, told them I didn't get my bonus, and was told on phone that I was absolutely right and that the bonus would be credited right after I got off the phone. 3 days later, no bonus . I'll call them back once I decide I care enough to.

Overall though, very unimpressed with the book.

man I was so close to choosing this book over skybook

looks like I made the right choice as skybook paid me faster than any other book Ive dealt with since the new law plus had better CS...and Ive dealt with just about every one

I've been considering them myself. Always seem to hear good things about them.

I've noticed that. Seems to be a word of mouth kind of book. I have a local buddy here in CT who has been trying to convince for weeks to play there.

I have dealt with Las Palmas for a good 5 years and don't recall any communication problems. I usually use the phone but have been okay using e-mail lots of times. Sometimes I get e-mail replies from them from ehorsex (or something like that) and if I try to reply back, there is a problem. So I always send my replies to the main address from the site. cs@betlp or whatever it is.

I've never been much of a live chat guy so I can't comment on that.

I have also had good experiences with payouts. I actually had a problem in late August pulling out a mid 4-figure amount, but they explained the problem to me and kept me apprised all the way. It took about 4 days as I recall. That is slow for them in my experience.

There have been a handful of payout complaints in August for larger amounts. We have a few new ones this week that we are looking into.

Noone has contacted me about my complaint yet, and if u take a look at it u'd realize why calling them isn't going to do any good.

That said, they aren't responding to mine either. I could probably call but I really don't like phones.

I have played at LasPalmas a ton in the past not in maybe 2 years though. This shocks me. I have always been paid by this shop. I am interested to hear what happens.

i signed up with them for the BTP contest cause it was a book i didn't have an account with, i've been dicking around with my 100 bucks for a month, up down up down, but it seems like whenever i get on a little roll , all the sudden when i try to place bets i get an error saying I have exceeded my maximum bet limit of $2. Come on now, $2, WTF, ain't like i'm making big bets and killing them, but even when i try to play a game for $2 it still comes back with an error. Live chat goes nowhere, someone says "Hi, what is question?" you state it, they ask for account #, and that's it, they never come back. I sit there typing in "hello are you there?", "anybody still on here?" and stuff like that and finally i just leave. one time i minimized it and kept checking back and typing in stuff for like 2 hours and no one ever came back. And i have a so-called personal account manager that e-mailed me when i first signed up, she doesn't answer back either. But usually i try to place the bets a few times a day and keep getting the error, then i just don't play for a couple days and when i come back everything is fine. so i don't know if it is a glitch in their software or what, or they are just trying to piss me off.

Ok..i filled out the complaint form two days ago. No one has contacted me regarding it. I'd think by now I'd at least have received an email verifying you received it and are working on it...or asking for more detail...or something.

Most people do I think. When it comes up in discussion, players I talk to are usually surprised that my limits are higher. My impression is that $500 is standard. That was my limit for my first few years there.



It is becoming a repeated phenomenon for me of being surprised at what is going on with my old reliable books.

I know there are also complaints about Las Palmas talking about figures like 40K. Kind of like BurtRapp was indicating, it is shocking and just doesn't fit in with what I know. I can't help but be skeptical but there is more and more stuff coming up here.

I'll just keep watching.

Calling is relatively pointless. With e-mail/live chat I have a record of all contact attempts and exactly what transpired.... when I call... who knows. I get all sorts of CS offering me bonuses etc, but when I ask for e-mail clarifying it... They magically stop calling... So strange.

LP emailed me an hour ago saying they would transfer all my funds to Cris or I could continue waiting for MB. I called and told them I would take Cris. They said they would call it in immediately. 5 Minutes later the money is in my Cris account. FWIW I never would have had a complaint if they offered this a week ago.

Small book that prolly was hit hard by the law..i used to like them ok, but would stay far away now.
