I would like to know how is BetJamaica recommended so highly by SBR? I joined them on SBR recommendation, but I have to say that I was expecting more, much more.

Their support is a joke. Seems like they don't even understand half of the questions or chose not to answer them intentionally, often changing topics or replying as if I asked them something else... It's also extremely slow, I would hardly call it a conversation as answers are few and far between, with no definite answers.

I asked them the other day about Miami ATP and why are there no odds offered on it. Never received a reply to the actual question, they just kept saying in a broken English that there is some upcoming tournament that they will be offering in the future. Hey, I asked about this one and why are there no odds, I have my money with you so I expect an answer, right? Trust me, you don't even wanna see that transcript, it's total bullshit and in the end they just logged off without answering my last question or saying anything... Mind me, I was polite the whole time.

Same thing happened today, I asked about their soccer odds and why are there NO SOCCER games offered. Apart from the EURO 2012 qualifications, there were no soccer plays offered since I registered a bit over a week ago I believe... HUH??

There's a Djokovic match in a few hours and I can't even place a bet on it? Are you kidding me? It's ATP 1000 (Miami) after all, so it's not like it's some no-name BS tournament held at ones backyard...

Also missed the COPA LIBERTADORES: Dep Tolina vs Estudiantes game tonight, and many other games since registering with them.

As if that's not bad enough, they're also among the last books to post the lines and by the time they do so, they've usually already considerably moved... I have yet to see an overnight line (other than some NCAA tournament lines and Dallas vs Lakers tomorrow). Even square books like Expekt.com (B-) are offering overnight lines, often even a few days ahead of time and they sure do offer many, many more sports/games...

If this is what an A+ book looks like, I'm afraid to ask what those rated C or worse are like

ETA: Apparently (according to fellow members) they're focused mostly on serving an average American player so sports like Tennis and Soccer aren't their priority and are offered few and far between. Wish they had just told me that instead of tiptoeing around it - no need for all the smoke and mirrors, I can respect honesty and straight facts, even if I don't necessarily have to like them (and I don't).

On the good note, members have confirmed their good payout ethics and I have personally received a nice bonus upon registration, so thumbs up for that.

Sorry that you had bad experiences using BetJamaica live chat. As with all live chat services, you're at the mercy of the clerk who fields the inquiry. Most are good, some are average, and some randomly disconnect instead of ask the guy at the cubicle across to help with something he doesn't know. =)

We've written BetJamaica management to inform them of this sour experience, and to attempt to receive clarification on the question you asked which was never answered. We're sure they will follow-up on this with the clerk and hopefully reach out to you as well.

they are quite good at what they do do but that is predominantly serving the US recreational market and sports outside of NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL etc don't get much coverage at all
clearly you need a book with more comprehensive coverage

Thank you for replying Lou! Just so it's clear, my grief is not with SBR (even though I did kind of call you out) and I am still willing to give BetJam a chance, I just find these things concerning and thought I should point it out.

You are quite correct, this is not the first sour "Live Chat" experience I've encountered during the years of my web experience (with companies in other industries as well), I just expected more from a company in the business in question.

Thank you again for stepping in and I apologize if my tone was a bit harsh, I just got heated up by the second such experience in a row and the fact that they don't seem to be offering odds on two of the more popular sports in the industry (not on regular basis anyway).

Believe it or not, but e-mail is actually faster. Phone probably good too! I have not used it a lot but more than a few times I have e-mailed to do a book2book or asking for a bonus or whatever and they process/credit it in like 15 minutes + send the e-mail back to me. They are well worth having. Take a look at the nickel juice fridays and also the paradise loyalty club.

Thank you Hareeba, I was not aware of that... I understand some books are more inclined or have better odds on typical "American sports", but I'd never expect a book to just "boycott" an otherwise very popular sport... I haven't encountered it at online books before, though admittedly, my experience is limited.

they only offer tennis lines on the slams. their soccer lines are far and few between. They are primarly good for the big 3 sports here, not a lot of props. they pay quickly. their cs is bad through live chat and good on the phone.

While this might amaze you, you have to realize that not everyone on this forum is located in the USA, and not everybody's first language is English either for that matter. While I'm quite comfortable writing in English, speaking it not so much, which is why I prefer to resort to emails and other means of written correspondence. The fact that their support is apparently Jamaican would only make things harder for me over the phone (accent).

They're good for it, as long as you "check out", and that I can commend them on personally (received a $100/$100 freeplay on my initial deposit).
