Funny how these problems popped up soon after they stopped sending SBR advertising money.

This is horrible. Billy used to always be there for me with every book. 6 months ago, he helped me get paid with BP. this week i email him 5 times and NO RESPONSE by him. that's sad. not even an explanation. he doesn't want to help an old friend out just because BP is not here anymore.

It's sad that i post at sbr only for the last 3 yrs and now i have to go to my boy wilheim at RX just because the owner here does not want to help me anymore..

They took me off it about 3 weeks ago. They told me they'd have an answer soon for me if i can go back. i have emailed them about 7x telling me to tell me asap if they'd put me back on it cause i have to find books for baseball and prepare. they are avoiding me and not responding to me.

take your money out and put it someplace better ... but sounds like you'll be waiting several months at least

It's not SBR, people. I frequent a lot of similar forums and I see payout complaints about BP on most of them.

I've even seen a guy have trouble withrawing $300 from there.

    $300!

That would be me except I increased the the request from 4K to my full balance amount. I have forwarded my wire info to Phoenix and got a response on Friday saying, "Good deal," and it will be handled.

As of now, the funds are still in my Phoenix account.

I am still following this thread in hopes that everyone gets cleared up soon. I would like to play with them next football season and maybe even try the -105 if they are still offering next season.

They haven't called me asking to deposit in ages their advertising budget must be down.

  20. #20

Well I'm no fan of this place, but is this really a crisis? They've stated previously they're having some problems funding MB and Neteller, they're willing to do wire instead, and then there's one late check (out of how many they probably send out) that's not even 3 weeks yet - who knows if the address was accurate or wtf. This kind of sounds like bashing to me.

seems to me that it's all been going on far too long and getting worse for excuses like that to be accepted at face value anymore

Just now received my 4k wire from BP. Ordered it last week. p2p and wires seem to be working as usual. Thanks Richard and BP.

Thanks for the update, Lou. You and the rest of SBR do a great job of keeping these books honest.

They have been slowpaying me now for around 5 months. What makes it more frustrating is how they repeatedly lie to me and SBR. Not "we can pay on time lie", but factually lying to slow down my payouts even further. They went so far as to provide me support on a withdrawal I requested (answering questions about the withdrawal multiple times) only to tell me a month later that there was no request in the system. Their way of correcting the situation was to offer me a payout with no fee that was 3 weeks late. This occurred in 2010. Now I'm here still with a balance and their payouts are taking over a month.

I can't see how this sounds like "bashing". I tried to work with them and SBR privately for almost 5 months.

Don't they own Skybook now. I was a player at Skybook for many years and always enjoyed the free half points, contests, etc that they had but I had a 5 figure balance with them and wanted to withdrawal it and they came up with a bunch of bs and large cost to get it out. I could only do a certain type of payout for about 2K at a time and it cost about $85. Needless to say I took out my money and won't be back.

  26. #26

Yes, they own SkyBook now. At one time SkyBook was top notch. Now I would stay away.

  27. #27

I understand that CR books may not keep MBers and NT topped up, but what's up with complaint no. 4 about the check request?

I assume these players have more than $4k stuck there too, and are just waiting for the first WD to hit before they go in for another, or can you stack WD requests at Phoenix based on the request date, rather than the processing date?

No change in this situation as of now.

You guys have too much patience for the wrong thing: bullshit.

BetPhoenix has been ******* people around for a while, even DURING football season, so you know they aren't coming off that cash from Feb-August all that easy.

  30. #30

this wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for their unfair policy of how to count withdrawal days. they advertise one free withdrawal every 30 days. but it's 30 days from whenever they get around to processing the withdrawal request as opposed to when the player requested it. with their processing speed, it effectively changes one free withdrawal every 30 days into one free withdrawal every ~50 days. nice way to punish the player for their own ineptitude.

  31. #31

Phoenix may make it to this football season with a "C" rating, but by Football 2012 at the latest, they will be at "D" or lower on SBR. This will all probably happen much sooner, and I think SBR is giving Phoenix the benefit of the doubt in many cases, and hopefully overtime the benefit will erode. This book was trash the minute they allowed BetSportsWeb in their office. A reputable book would never allow that.

I know a lot of guys wanna blame SBR and advertising, but business has to make money. The bottom line is SBR is the most fair forum in the world for Americans for sportsbooks online. All the other ones delete posts and tout books that literally steal money.

Basically if you've got money in BP you're an idiot, theres approx 5 million threads on here about BP slowpays, I mean seriously if you see 10 signs that say bridge washed out and you keep your foot on the gas anyway who do you have to blame when you hit water?

  33. #33

i went off the deep end of that bridge years ago

With the rate of payment many people still have substantial sums who've been attempting to withdraw for many months. I've been trying to get my balance out for around 8 months.

  35. #35

I must be an idiot too. I turned 2k into 12k at sister book WC this football season and am slowly drawing it out (2k every 50 days or so). My second payment from them is due to arrive today (have tracking #).

    Update: Payment received.
