If you two are just content to sit back and let sportsbook.com dick you around, then go ahead!! As they say an eye for an eye. I don't care who's fault it is- like someone mentioned earlier- it is ultimately sportsbook.com who owes us- they should be wayyyy more on top of their processors and should know at any given point in the day who they owe, who they don't, whose checks are good , and whose checks were bad. If they want to play with the big boys and want to play with as much money as they do on a daily basis, they need better management skills and they ultimately need an in-house processor. it shouldn't take 5-6 days or even one day to come up with a solution to their problem. the real problem over there is that no one seems to have a conference call phone line- get the main people in the room together or conference them over the phone and get your disaster handbook out and make a ****ing decision and notify your clients timely. ohh, forgot- they aren't sophisticated to plan for situations like this- they only had a year to learn from the first huge mistake- guess the didn't learn anything last year. so they can't pay out without a processor yet they are still taking millions in from people daily who have no idea of the payout situation- totally unethical. The story is hitting locally in just a few days and is being sent straight to ABC Primetime! They need a consequence to their actions- the public who doesn't know this site exists needs to know to be aware of dealing with this company, as well as the entire family of online internet gaming!!

Sportsbook sucks- I agree with probably everything your saying. My concern is that offshore gambling is considered illegal in the USA in the first place and is it wise to give whatever government authorities tons of detailed info about these sportsbooks, good or bad ?

Am I right to assume that everyone has only had delays with sportsbook.com and that everyone eventually recieved their check? I just want to make sure I will recieve it eventually.

Default PlayersOnly 10 week payment delays

Just fyi everyone, it is now July 14, 2008 and I have been waiting on a large payment from PlayersOnly ( a member of the SportsBook.com family) for over four weeks. Today, they blamed the "U.S. Government" (no sh!t) for shutting down their payment processor. "Our corporate mascot ate your check " is probably next. They say it will be another 5 - 6 weeks before they can get another processor to handle the check. Like they could use no other processor in the world? No, they did not bother to inform me of the delay and I only got this far after I pressed and pressed. I also have cash coming from another affiliated company, Sports.com. At least they are offering to do an EFT (yes, i have a near-empty checking account to use) -- does anyone have any insight on the EFT route?

i have heard several different things from the playersonly people. I called them and a guy said to send my account info so I could do a wire transfer. They then emailed me asking for me to send a blank check, utility bill and such to verify my information. Then today I emailed again and they said they can only do wire transfers for withdrawals of over $5000. Every one I have talked to has said they are unsure why the check bounced other than processor problems and they all say "we will not give you a time frame because at this point they may be very inaccurate." and other sorts of bs like that. They havent even placed the funds back on my account. Once they place it I honestly plan and trying to build up to $5000 to see if they actually with do a wire transfer. I don't plan on waiting 2 months to see if they actually do send me a good check. Even if they lost their processor, they should be able to locate a new one within a week or two. if they have had to replace them constantly then how come these delays don't occur more frequently?

they are full of b.s. did you get the information you need to "apply" for the EFT. Yes that is what I was just told I have to apply for the EFT. I guess you have to be selected to use this method its not optional to everyone.

This place is a joke tank. DO NOT PUT MORE MONEY IN THIS PLACE.. I'm close enough 4800 that I will let you know if this works out and then you can fund your account.

Angry Playing with fire

For years I enjoyed Sportsbook.com but the aggravation this time around just trying to get paid has aged me. Do not believe a word from them. They change the rules and replies as they go along. I would never keep betting with them believing some gibberish about wiring you the money once it gets over 5K. Have they said anything truthful since this crisis arose? This has been very good medicine teaching me to avoid internets gaming--bricks and mortar from now on....

yeah same here. I mean I won the majority of my money after a 20 dollar deposit. played a 5 dollar tourney and won like 750. that was at the end of march. It wouldn't be such a big deal but i've had plans for the funds they are sending me and every time they push it back it just adds more pressure on me. i thought it was fixed once i finally received a check. now if i have to get another check im not even gonna bother depositing it. its going straight to a check cashing place and ill just accept the 20 dollar or whatever the fee is.

casper 100% amen to bricks and mortar. I'm of the belief that at some point it will all come down and people will get crushed. Local for me much safer 100% going to get the money and its cash!!! Less paper etc.

You ever get the 3rd-degree from those check-cashing places? Man, they asked me where the check was from and were weird. Just put into my account...It's insane to do business with people who do not provide a physical address yet demand all this crud from us. Who runs the places anyway? Mob, dopers, etc?
