Default Bookmaker playing games

I have a balance of $334 with Bookmaker and I'm trying to close my account and they won't let me. Because I used a credit card the last time to I sent them money, they make you fax them a copy of your drivers license, the front and back of the credit card you used, and an imprint of the credit card - you have to use a pencil and rub on a piece of paper with your credit card underneath. So I send them everything they asked for, call them up, and they say they can't read the imprint, I have to do it again more legibly. So I do it again, fax it over, but I forgot to sign the page with the imprint. So they tell me this time it's o.k. they can read it, but I forgot to sign it, So I sign it and fax it again, now they're back to telling me they can't read it again. But it's the exact same imprint page I had just sent them that they said was fine. So I ask to speak to a supervisor and the guy tells me a supervisor will just tell me the same thing. So I say I want to speak to a supervisor anyway. So the guy just keeps telling me the same thing, and won't switch me to a supervisor. Bottom line is they're playing games. And yet SBR rates them A+?

Stick to sportsbook.com or BetUS, then you won't have to worry about withdrawals at all.

Default yep

yahoonino - exactly. They didn't ask for any of this when I was making a deposit, but now that I want to close my account all of a sudden they are oh so careful. I call them up and they know who I am because I give them my account number and password. But that's not enough, they want a copy of your driver license, front and back of the credit card you made a deposit with, IMPRINT of the credit card using a PENCIL AND RUBBING OVER PAPER THAT'S RESTING ON THE CARD! I'm not making this up. Anybody heard of this before? I mean, if I send them the front and back of the card that proves it's my card, in my possesion, and in any case I'm not asking them to send money to the card, I'm asking them to close my account and send me a check. The whole thing is unbelievable.

While I can sympathize with your frustrations, I can totally understand there point of view on this subject sir. Books these days have to take extra precautions when it comes to processing issues due to the U.S. law restrictions that were implemented back on 10/13/06.

Thing is, there are times to use common sense. That's something a lot of clerks don't do. Great customer service is a rarity, and I don't think you'd ever lump Bookmakers staff in that regard, regardless of this issue.

If someone sends you their credit card front and back, and their ID, and they say it's not clear enough, then you send the credit card front and back again, but forgot to sign something, but the credit card is now clear enough, but you signed the exact same document before... THEY can be sure it is you...!!! That's just petty. Who else would have your credit card w/ your name on it and your ID..? Books sometime lose touch with reality, clearly this guy wasn't a scamster..

U gotta be kidding!

Boomaker is an A book because they have rules and they follow them, and they pay. yea your delayed or have to do something that takes a couple of minutes big deal.

U want paid just do what they tell u. It is very simple. Your boss at work tells u something are u going to argue u don't agree or just do it?

Here we go people complaining you fail to follow the rules.

Shit they say fax it again I do it. Pain in the ass maybe but I want paid.

That does not make a book bad!

O.K. so I call again and luck out and get a supervisor, a guy named Walter. He is a decent guy and is willing to help me out instead of just give me a run around. I faxed the credit card "image" to him, he said it was o.k. I just needed to send a better copy of the front of the credit card. So I went to kinko's and got a more clear copy of the front of the card, sent it to him and now it's all cleared up. I still don't get why they needed all this stuff on my credit card and drivers license when they knew who I was by my giving them the acct number and password, and I wasn't depositing with a credit card, I was withdrawing with a check.

As stated before u should have done that prior to making an A book look like they did something wrong, when in fact it was u nott giving them exactly what they needed. A legible/readable id/card)
