You probably either got scamed or are going to spend a few hours touring a timeshare and look forward for some high pressure sales pitch. You sending a check means it's probably a scam, but I hope I'm wrong and it's just a timeshare presentation. Good luck and have fun in Vegas!

gm, i like you man, you're my buddy, you know tht.. but YOU ARE SO NAIVE..
gm, let me ask you this, what's in it for a place like this to give free vacations??? now why would they give this to 2,000 or more people for free?? gm, no such thing as a free lunch in this world... people are out to scam you, and this is a scam.. you know what's going to happen? at the end, they will ask you that you only have to pay the taxes, OR you have to pay the hotel they will offer you to stay at.. which is 275 a night, OR you have to pay for a membership first, or you have to purchase something.
i've seen all this many times in my life gm.. they reel you in.. they found a sucker in you.. and you are falling for it..
i didnt even check this yet, but i can assure you they are not telling you everything.. YOU WILL DEFINITELY PAY SOMETHING FOR THIS TRIP.. watch and see how i am right..
what's in it for them gm? you think they are going to give you a free trip because you're a nice guy? everyone is out to make a buck. .watch it gm.. dont pay anything for this, cause they will ask you for money, mark my words..
CAN YOU SAY................SCAM...
whatever you do, DO NOT send them a penny..
watch and see, and come back and tell me, you were right, nicky.

You have to attend a mandatory 3 hour timeshare sales pitch. Not worth it IMO.
Google "Tahiti Village timeshare"

It's not a scam per se..... just a gimmick to get people to buy timeshare in Tahiti Village. I hear their ad all the time on the radio.

Well I live in Vegas, gm. The trip wouldn't do me much good. Heh. I'm just curious if it is a scam or a timeshare. I wanted to know where you're staying. Tahiti Village is the most aggressive timeshare company here. I thought it may be them behind it all. If it is them, it isn't a scam as they offer $100 to couples in Vegas just to check them out for a few hours. Don't be surprised if you are obligated to attend a few events during your trip, however.

gm, nothing is for free in this world. that doesn't exist my friend. everybody wants to profit from you,. remember that. everybody wants a buck.. if it sounds too good to be true, it is..
last week i had 3 phone calls telling me i won a free 50 dollar gift certificate for free stuff from a local store. i kept asking them, do i have to pay for this or is it free, and they'd say, free 50 sir. i'd say,, no catch?? they'd say no.. after 7 minutes of giving my info on phone, as she hangs up, she says.. ok sir, we will be sending you the coupon in mail.. i get coupon in mail today and it says free 50 with purchase of 50 ore more.. this is always the case with any free offer i get.
NOTHING FOR FREE IN THIS WORLD.
GM, YOU WILL COME BACK TO ME AND SAY I WAS RIGHT. you will have to do work for this or pay for something.. this is ALWAYS the case.. ALWAYS...

If it's Tahiti Village, it's not a scam. There are many types of companies that use this same sales approach on cruises and the like. They will probably be putting you up at the Tahiti Village resort on Las Vegas Blvd. and Warm Springs. So they have minimal costs associated with your stay...

Years ago, I used to stay at the cheapest hotel in Vegas called the Wild Wild West at $19/night so I'd have more money to gamble with. Ahhhh, those were the days.

GM, don't worry about it if it's Tahiti Village it's not a scam. What I hear about them is they put you up in a cheap hotel like Riviera or Sahara and bus you to Tahiti Village for a high pressure sales pitch. Just keep telling them no because time shares are the biggest waste of money, especially with a high maintenance fees on top of buying your time share. After that, just enjoy your vacation! Looks like it doesn't include airfare so 2 nights in a cheap hotel at a discount price to Tahiti Village probably only cost them like $50 to give you a sales pitch.
