I remember back in 2002 when I first started betting frequently, Sportbet seemed kind of scary and on the fringe. Jake has made great improvements at this book. I think people now play with them, with confidence that they will have a good experience and get paid.

Almost all of the book pics are in the mornings before the games and before they are fully staffed. The sportsbooks have been very accomodating, especially since they would all like to be shown at their busiest.

kind of off topic, but you think the first thing these books would do is hire an on-staff handicapper guy...a guy who just reads up on teams, watches games and predicts line movements...just a thought, but I think it would help...even if they were to outsource it, hire a consultant of sorts...

Pags many have tried, most fail. Just pretty tough to beat the market. The ones that opener earlier or big use consultants who do provide that. Cascade as the most recent example of books that will go against the market; they seem to have done pretty well.

Very well said. I rememeber getting a call from them saying they were going to wipe the slate clean. They did not ask for an upgrade either which I respected. All they asked for was for us to watch them. Text book march up the SBR ratings so far...

2 more things. do you allow a bonus from a deposit with a debit/mastercard as I did not receive one. Also, I do not see woodbine harness in the horse list. Will it come up later tonight or do you just not offer the harness section? thanks

ok thanks. I put $300 in to test out the account but never saw a bonus hit. will see if woodbine hits later. I did like the fact I was able to bet up to post time(tried it out with a few tamba bay bets which hit woo lol).
