BEST BETS went 2-1 again on Saturday to mark the 4th consecutive session my top plays have posted such a mark. Detroit and Tampa Bay were the winners while Atlanta was the loser.....unfortunately that was the play I posted. All three plays were posted at the site, however, and all are NOW posted there for Sunday.

Here is one of my BEST BETS for Sunday, that was randomly selected from the three.

The Angels are currently the hottest team in MLB as they have been the winner of their last 7 contests, including a 5-3 win over the A's on Saturday.

Santana is getting the call for the Angels on Sunday and he has been providing solid efforts on a rather consistent basis. After dropping three Santana starts in a row, the Angels have won his last two outings which included a CG effort against the Tigers in a 3-2 win. Overall, the Angels are 5-2 in the 7 road starts Santana has made and he hasn't been "blown out of the water" in any of his starts. Worst start of the season for Santana saw him allow 5 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings of work against the D Rays on May 11th, an 8-5 Tampa Bay win....Santana took a no decision in that contest.

Oakland is sending out Harden to try and end the hot run of the Angels and salvage something positive in this series. Harden has pitched relatively well in his starts this season, but the A's have managed to win only 2 of his 4 starts at home.

Considering that the Angels are scolding hot with a solid pitcher on the hill, the entire Angel staff is solid anyway, I am having a tough time working out the percentages that would have the Angels at the current price....all I can figure is someone must like the A's.
