    Default Opinions/Consensus on Steve Fezzik?

I have been following the forum for a few weeks now and just registered. I was wondering what anyone that has followed or used Fezzik's picks in the past or recently thinks of his ability or inability to cap games. I have heard a little about him and how he has won the hilton contest 2 or 3 years in a row now, just wondering how legit he is if his picks are available. Thanks for the help and input and good luck to everyone for the football playoffs and basketball seasons.

I don't know much about him, but I wouldn't go jumping on a guy for winning the Hilton Contest. Have you actually checked out the record of those guys that win those contests? Most of the time it's really not that impressive. If I had $10,000 to drop on the Hilton Contest or Leroys, I would like my chances vs. almost all of those guys and I'm not claiming to be an outstanding NFL capper, although I do end up at a pretty good % every year, as I am just a flat bettor.

Fezzik is his own syndicate. He has many runners around here in Vegas. He pays them 20% of every winning ticket they cash for him, but pays no salary if he isnt betting winners. He is around 40 years old, and makes a living betting.

He is becoming a vegas legend. But like many in Vegas this year wasnt great for him in sports other than football. So his runners arent getting paid. He is just another syndicate on a hot run. Trust me the syndicates in vegas come a dime a dozen. I meet new runners everyday. Sometime I see them move lines with their plays, other times I see them lose big. Its too hard to make money long-term without a lot of luck, and research.

Fezzik is his nickname. Its come from the Princess Diaries. But Trust me bro no Sportsbook in Vegas is scared of his plays outside of Football.

Fezzik releases tons of wagers at his LVAsports site that, I found in my experience and talking with several other people, are just not available to the casual or even serious bettor. For example 3rd and 4th quarter bets in NFL games before they start. He releases ridiculous lines on season win totals that non-professionals don't have access to. The common bets he releases at his site have been HORRIBLE losing way more than he wins (ex. Miami/Wisconsin Over in bowl game, Dolphins last week, Texas/Bama under for first half, I could go on and on). My advice is to stay far away from that cat.

He just won the Hilton Super Contest for the 2nd time in a row. Unheard of, and will never be duplicated. So he deserves much credit for his football acumen, but other sports....

The guy went 53-28 in the NFL

He won the Hilton contest 2 years in a row -- any idea how fuking hard that is ???!!!!

I have no idea if he wins in any other sports

Its hillarious. The same people that clamour for losers like Doc ( who is dead by the way - they are just using his name ) Ferringo, Football Jesus, Ness , Sebastion,Adam Meyers, Kelso,SPREITZER.
Liars and thieves like Jefferson , Greg Skaker, and hundreds of other scrubs are knocking a guy that won a contest that has hundreds of proffesional gamblers in it 2 yrs in a row

Fezzik doesn't handicap, but is a very, very shrewd advantage gambler....he wins, but that doesn't mean the people that follow him win...Fezzik knows who to listen to and knows how to bet, and that is every bit as important as being a great handicapper.

I don't belong to his site now that it is "pay" but very much enjoyed his stuff at the old site....at $20/month it may be worth the price of admission....I am certainly not against paying for this kind of stuff, but haven't done it yet (and wouldn't consider it until next August/Sept if I did).

Thanks for the responses so far. Who if anyone do any of you guys follow or find are solid in each sport? I know lang is a joke, other than that I have heard of a bunch of the names out there and seen they are avg. at best, guys like doc, ness, teddy from covers and some of that crew to name a few. Sure they all go on a nice little run here and there but are there any that are consistent and don't go on the horrible losing streaks or are at least worth looking at and considering the advice they give? Thanks for the responses to everyone.

There is a fake Fezzik with his own website, some scammer who is using Fezziks name selling plays.

Obviously you didn't check out the Hilton Contest this year as the winner was 58-22-5, a real "not impressive" 72.5%.

But the Hilton contest uses old lines not available for betting. The second year Fezzik won the Hilton, he was documented at an overall loss for the picks he gave on his forum, because plenty of the Hilton plays were never available for actual betting.

Nice story but it's complete BS. The Hilton contest is $1500 not $10,000 so if you were half the capper you "claim" to be you could afford to register. . . . or even know that. Not to mention the Hilton winner is usually is the 67-70% range of winners for the season.

    Could you be anymore clueless?
