Most quirky mini putt putt MLB park is?Injuries as a result?
Just got done watching the Yankees-Orioles game and the garden variety fan interference in the stands played a factor in the outcome. That said, there are few stadiums where that can't happen. In the old days where they weren't concerned with asthetics and stuffing stadiums in cracker box city lots there was alot more buffer zones between players and fans.
Then I turned the channel and watched the Cubs-Astros game.Tell me who designed that stadium with the short left field wall of shame and the hump in dead center field?Mickey Mantle ruined his career by running over an exposed sprinkler head on the field and it was just poor field maintenance why that happened. Why intentionally put knee breakers like humps on the fields?
The Metrodome with the white roof where you lose balls and the hefty bag has to be one of the worst and it was made that way because when the state of Minnesota constructs anything, the engineering and materials going into the project take a back seat to paying social welfare benefits to the construction workers and kickbacks to the Tony Soprano union bosses.
You really get a feel for how quirky stadiums are when you play baseball on the new video games that recreate the stadiums to a tee.Even on hi def tv you don't get that 3 dimensional feel for the stadiums with goofball porches and such.
So what stadium is the closest to being made into a miniature golf course atmosphere like Jackie Mason's character did to the golf course on Caddy Shack 2?
