i really like your hometeam picks, because it's very hard to win on the road and most teams are even satisfied with a draw, using their homegame advantage to advance to the next round.

I understand that you favor inter against liverpool, because pool didn't perform very well during the last games in the premiere league, but what lets me stay away from this game is liverpools recent cl history.
They were always able to focus on the most important games , especially in the champions league.
Although they weren't good in the last premier league years, their champions league performance was always far better than during ordinary pl weekends.
I expect a solid effort and a homewin from them tonight, but i'll probably won't bet on this game.

Congratulations on your picks. Materazzi shouldn't have been sent off for Inter. His sending off virtually changed the complexion of the game. It was a very poor decision by the referee. Both his cautions (yellow cards) were highly debatable.
