I watched this live when she was giving the speech. Was thrilled until she said she was going to vote for it anyway, WTF?

Whether you care about the online gaming issue or not we should be concerned that these measures can be planted inside unrelated bills. They vote on bills while complaining they never read the final version.

Non wonder they ban gambling...

The idea of informed people has yet to register in their hollow brains.

Voting against the Port Security act for practically any reason would have been political suicide. She said what 90% of us believe, than being sticking this in with a bill like the Port Security Act is a sh!tty thing to do.

Trouble is, the vast majority of the voting public here doesn't really care one way or another about on-line gambling.

I wouldn't be so sure. Poker is huge. This will have political consequences.

Or at least it should. Electronic voting without paper trail has opened up a whole new can of 'democracy'.

I'm extremely opposed to this government. I believe they stole two elections, and that 9/11 was an inside job. Considering the great lenghts to which these fascists go to implement their agenda, a shocking event in the next month or so wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Anything to (re)install fear in the public mind. Bush's reign of terror may be far from over.
