Default SEC Dominates Basketball recruiting in 08

Quote:
The SEC leads the charge with 32 committed and/or signed players in the Rivals150. The ACC and Pac-10 are tied for second with 23 players in the national rankings. The Big East checks in with 19 national recruits while the Big Ten has 15 ranked prospects coming to the conference next year. The Big 12 closes out the high-majors with only 11 players in the Rivals150.

How do you figure, out of the top 25 players coming out of high school the SEC combined only got 3 of those players (tennessee 1, georgia 1, and Alabama 1), UNC got 3 of the 25 by itself. According to ESPN. ACC has 7 of the top 25 players (UNC 3, Duke 1, Wake Forest 1, Virginia 1, Florida State 1)

So the acc has a few more players that will leave early while the sec brought in the most talent. its not all that complicated.

ummm give me Samardo Samuels, Greg Monroe, Devin Ebanks (all top 10 recruits) and add to the fact that 10 out of the top 50 recruits for the 08 class are going to Big East schools compared to the 8 top 50 players going to ACC schools. By the way 3 Big East schools are ahead of every SEC school in the 08 class. Including the Cards at #4. That should be all you need. No domination for the SEC in anything related to basketball (outside of scandals)

ACC and Big East are the top dogs and that is year after year because they get the best recruits. UNC is once again taking home some big time talent and bringing back the player of the year, good luck everyone else.
