Why is the price so cheap with Francisco Liriano on the mound for the Twins? The answer is the lines makers subscribe to the same theory I do: Liriano has not made a start since Aug 7 when he was put on the DL. It will take at least a couple of starts for him to get back in form on this level. Oakland starter Dan Haren has been tough in his 11 starts during the day in 2006 posting a solid 3.01 ERA and 1.04 WHIP. The A’s are 17-8 in Game 3 of a series coming off a loss this season. With the Angels still in striking distance in the AL West they can’t afford to go into a tailspin especially after losing the first two games of the series. Play: Athletics +130. |

He was indeed, Ill. Garza also looked very strong for the Twins in relief of Liriano.
