Betonline payout problem
I had deposit 2500 $ via neteller at betonline 5 month ago.
I had placed a few bets and now my balance is $ 12.000
Now I have try to withdraw some money via neteller.
But betonline told me neteller would currently not be available.
Betonline gave me only 2 options for a payout: Cashier check and moneygram.
Option 1: Cashier check:
I'm from Germany and I have 2 German bank accounts.
I asked them both and they told me, yes they take cashier checks but only in euros, not in USD
For me that means I have to look for a bank who take cashier checks in $ and I have to open a third bank account , which I donīt need, because I already have two bank accounts
What a hassle!
Option 2: MoneyGram:
The next moneygram office is about 50 miles away from here. Betonline charge a $ 100 fee, and moneygram charge you a fee over 5% for the exchange Euro / US Dollar.
That means I have to travel the half day and have a loss of roundabout $ 700 with this option!
What a hassle
I mean, Betonline stated at their website: BetOnline.com has one of the largest selections of deposit and payout methods in the industry
What a joke

It's not really all that uncommon for the books to suggest taking an alternate payment options when one of the low volume methods are not funded. However, the player should also have the option to wait with a time frame.

Betonline still offering Neteller as a payout option on their website BBD.
I asked for a timeframe - The answer was: We donīt know.
Thatīs not good.

This does come up once in awhile with books balking on Neteller and Moneybookers payouts. WagerWeb is a well-known example. It seems to just get shrugged off around here.
I understand that reaction. There are bigger fish to fry in terms of things books do that suck.
But like moonbeam illustrates so well, the difference between an e-wallet payment and a cheque or Moneygram can be huge. Particularly if it's a large amount and things come into play like currency conversions and cheques being held by the bank.
Like if I was waiting for 20K US and I had a choice between Moneybookers with a $500 fee or a free cheque, I'd pay the fee and it would be a pretty easy decision.
Dan makes a good point that they should offer a timeline for the problem being corrected - and stick with it. If not, the withdrawal method should be removed from the website. If that doesn't happen, it should star to effect their SBR rating IMO.
Again, I understand how there are bigger problems out there but I don't think this gets noticed enough. It really sucks. I'm just sayin'.

BetOnline also offers bank wires. Where I don't think you were properly informed my Deutscher Bruder is when both of your banks told you they only accept cashiers checks in Euros. Lol well of course they bank in Euros and the US dollar is a foreign currency, but they should still accept the check. They're going to charge you a conversion fee, but since it's a bank and $5,000 or about 2,950 Euros isn't that small, they should give you a good exchange rate.
I would just take the wire instead of the check in your situation. It'll take 5 days from the time you request the wire to the time that it's in your account. If you were to do the check option, that might take two weeks, and then your bank might put a hold on it for another week. Remember, you can only withdraw $5,000 per day at BetOnline. You'll have to request 3 wires for a total of $12,000.

Thought Bill was gonna check into this? Going on second week BOL is not living up to NT obligation.
Bad enough they tell the Europeans "we don't bonus you guys" then slap them in the face with this too.

@ bigboydan: What do you mean with a time frame?
one week, one month, one year?
what is an acceptable timeframe in your opinion?

What I meant is that they should have given you the payment solution option with an understanding on just how long it would take them to have there Neteller accounted funded. Not just say that it's not an option.

Moonbeam,
Bank wire should have also been an option and you should be charged the amount for the Neteller withdrawal. We are told the Neteller as a withrawal option should be coming off the website soon. Let us know or CC us if there is any confusion with the clerk about the fees and we will forward to mgt.

Let me see if I can get this straight. With football season upon us, BOL has told you they will not allow people to withdraw via Neteller? They still taking deposits via Neteller?
So instead of adding any ewallets (like Moneybookers) or offering book2book they propose to eliminate Neteller?
What did you say SBR was gonna do with that grade??
Por favor......

Someone stated this earlier. BetOnline likes catering to Americans. I guess they figure since a majority of their clientele (and by majority I would assume 80%) can't use Neteller, they don't need to keep it.

Ive been with them for years... and have had no problems til now...
I requested a payout via moneygram yesterday.. im up almost 3grand... they said they are "limiting withdrawls to 1,000" and i could request the rest later.. now today I call them to check the process because the money is still showing in my account now the excuse is "now we havent received our tracking numbers"... and we are not processing anymore payouts today....
Im kinda starting to sweat it a little bit... Anyone else have this problem?
