Default Matchbook needs to offer Asian Handicaps

To generate and attract more "Soccer" bettors out there during this Soccer season, I really think that my favorite betting exchange Matchbook should offer Asian Handicapping on their soccer matches.

Betfair, Betdaq and Betsson offer Asian Handicaps on their betting exchange... and if those 3 can offer Asian Handicaps... I am sure that Matchbook can too

Once Matchbook does this... I think they'll be one great all-around betting exchange!

I agree... Matchbook does need to broaden their horizons in that aspect for sure.

Many soccer players still wouldn´t use them, as long as the only currency they allow is $

Indeed. I still use MB, but am very careful to only keep a small amount of funds there, on account of how the $ is a horrible currency.

Same here: as long as Matchbook doesn't accept Euro as currency I won't use them, period. If books like Pinnacle, TheGreek and all asian books can offer Euro-accounts why can't Matchbook?
I hope they are reading here...

I also totally agree on the "currency". Euro has been proven to be more stable than the Dollar.

Hopefully, the guys at Matchbook would listen to our constructive "suggestions" on how to make Matchbook everyone's favorite betting exchange.

Right now, all my soccer bets are at betdaq which offer lower commissions on Asian Handicaps and have the same or even higher odds than Betfair. Please note that Matchbook can have this too if they wanted.

I use http://www.oddschecker.com/ to compare odds.

How do you mix euros and dollars on an exchange platform? There has to be a standard currency.

Of course there doesn't, you just use a market rate. Betfair offers several currencies and has for years.

I played at Tradesports for years, but that one slipped my mind.

Not sure I like it, though. Apart from increased liquidity from inflow of euros, I prefer pricing in dollars. A lot simpler. Tradesports is baffling to newcomers, and even Matchbook has many asking how to use it.

You wouldn't see anything but dollars. I wouldn't see anything but Euros.. It's all transparent if done properly.

More important for them atm, when looking at live betting:
they should offer alternate lines, for example for the under, with 8.5 already decided now. Switching it to 11.5 or something like that should be easy? Prolly some peeps out there who would like to bet these lines.

Matchbook has a lot of potential in terms that they have the volume of the U.S.-based players and therefore focus on U.S.-based sports. But to really gain the rest-of-the-world, offering more Euro-based sports and Asian Handicapping would be a good move.

It is understandable that Betdaq has more innovations mainly because of their billionaire owner's funding. The owner of Betdaq has also bought a part of BetChronicle. I guess he does not know what to do with his money. And Betdaq is aggressively trying to get the customers of BetFair.

Most of the time, if not all the time, the odds offered by Betfair and Betdaq are the same as seen from OddsChecker. If they are not the same, most likely the event is far from game-time.

These top 2: Betfair and Betdaq have lots of "live/in-running" bets which make you be able to "fix" your problem bets even while the game is running.

The biggest mistake of this "other" betting exchange World Bet Exchange (WBX) is that they do not offer moneybookers or other e-wallets for deposits and withdrawals. This has been the usual question of potential customers... "why no moneybookers?"

Slowly but surely, new innovations and offerings will be found at Matchbook. A start would be "currency choices" and Asian Handicaps.

I think a good idea for Asian Handicaps, would bring in more bettors to site.

It's definitely worth Matchbook at least explore expanding into that market, especially nowadays.

And I think it would not be too difficult for them to do anyway. They would not be losing money on this new feature... they would most likely gain more in commissions, right?

Tradbetx ties into the tradesports markets and is much easier to understnad and play.

Hmm, Yes...

It doesn't hurt to try, that is if they wish to explore that option.
