Default Season 06/07

Just starting a thread in preparedness for the upcoming European season. Seems as if things have gone very quiet in this forum since the end of the WC. Hopefully some peeps will post some thoughts and winners in here, then again i may end up talking to myself, LOL.

Gonna' start things off with a play. Bear in mind this is the Swedish 'allsvenskan', which i am sure is a very fine league, but one which i know very little about.

Kalmar FF (pk & +0.5) +104

Good luck all and here's hoping for some responses.

You wont be talking to yourself Mad.
I cant wait till soccer begins. Real soccer that is.
I think we should start a bet bets thread here too.
What do you guys think?

Well the first bet went South unfortunately. 1-1 until the 90th minute and the opposition scored. I love it when that happens, LOL.

Anyways, i think i have found another. In about an hour Hammarby, who are the league leaders, are playing away to Orgryte, who are on the bottom of the ladder.

At several books around the place, their is as much as +130 ($2.30) available for Hammmarby to win. These generous odds make me suspicious, however since i can't read Swedish, i can't read the local papers to see if their is a particular reason for this. If anyone knows of any reason please let me know, otherwise i'll be hitting this like a mofo.

What books do use mad for soccer? Actually I should include everyone. I'd like to know which books are good for soccer.

My fingers are itching to press some confirmation buttons on soccer bets too Mad... Should be careful though, it's august that has just started.
I would like to know more about that Hammarby game too, but Hammarby pick seems ok?

But what about tommorow's

Nantes +0.5

at home to Lyonnais, i read today the champs will be missing almost the whole starting eleven cause it 'was too soon' since the WCup, and we all know Houllier is not a genius to say the least.

Hi rolemand,
Nothing special is the answer to your question. All the usual suspects. Pinnacle are good (as always), plus some of my Aussie outs (Centrebet, Multibet, IAS) and Betfair. Some books cover some markets and not others, so i like to use a few. As we've grown accustomed to, Pinnacle seems to cover all markets and would suffice, particularly if you're looking for just one book. At other times I will use one of the odds comparison services (free):

www.betexplorer.com

Seems to be my favourite but their are others (oddsdna, betbrain etc). Then find a book i know of and like. Sometimes you can find a little variation in the prices to make it worthwhile. However at the same time, i wouldn't use an unknown book. To do it this way you'll need a couple of dollars in your Neteller (or moneybookers) at all times, but i like to keep it their anyways. I also hear peeps talking about 10bet, however i have never used them. Some food for thought.

Great thanks. When I saw that line you quoted it was like wow! what book did you see that. Pinnacle didn't even come close to that.

Thing to note with Pinnacle, in relation to some of these lesser known leagues, is that the price offered is/was for the asian handicap market only (no ML). I think the price you saw with Pinnacle today was the handicap market as opposed to the ML.

Rolemand,
Mansion seem to offer a reasonable variety of markets too.

Thanks for the heads up, will have a go at this tonight. Might just play a half unit on the win SU. Betcris and DSI have odds of +330 for the win for those interested. Definitely worth a shot, especially with half the Lyon team missing.

France already started, Germany in a week, England in two weeks, Spain and Italy early September.

currently in an 11 games losing streak in baseball, so i better win some soccer games today:

IFK Göteborg -1 -105
Spartak Nalchik - Kryliya Sovetov Samara - Draw
