Exclamation Italy-Germany World Cup Preview

Semifinals are here for those soccer fans out there and also those of you who only watcho soccer every World Cup.

This game should be pretty tight. Italy has conceded no goals in the whole tournament except an onw goal by one of its defenders. On the other hand Germany is just as tough too score on, so the game should be decided by 1 goal.
Historically this have been the 2 best teams in Europe, holding 3 WC titles each and a long lasting rivalry.

Italy went to the World Cup Final in 1982 (24 years ago) and won it and then went back in 1994 (12 years ago) and lost in to Brazil in the PK shootout. Will they do it this year to keep the math pattern going??
Both teams have key players missing. Italy's Alessandro Nesta will miss his 3rd consecutive WC game due to injury and German winger Torsten Frings will also miss the semifinals after he was suspended yesterday for taking part in the scuffle at the end of the Germany-Argentina match.

Anyway... it should be a great game. Remember this teams met just 3 months before the WC in Florence. That game was won 4-1 by the Italians.

Bets????
I like Italy +1/2 at -140 or so
and definitely the under at -230 or so.
Maybe Italy to advance at +140 or so.
Betting any side straight up in regulation is a big risk imo because I think this game has a very good chance of ending up in a draw. What do you guys think???

Anyway, enjoy the game good luck!!

Speaking about math pattern...
Germany won the WC in 1974 and 1990...so you know the answer to your question.

Italy reached WC final every 12 years since 1970.

That game reminded me of the movie Unforgiven. Everything calm, quiet, and peaceful, until, at the very end... :wow:

The draw won at the end...
The 2 - 0 was for the extra time.

Just incredible...
