yes but i think we would like to see shevchenko pull something magical... anyways does italy deserve to be were there at now? i know germany/argentina would love for the ukraines to pull this one off

The Italians KNOW Shevchenko and will give him proper respect... Afterall, how long has that guy been scoring 20+ in Italy?

I think he will miss Voronin more than he'd say... Voronin is a workhorse up front and while they havn't been in sync at all (i.e. shooting when they should pass or passing when they should shoot), he's going to get quite a few less opportunities. Voronin was almost a terror in the midfield -but playing upfront - in winning balls and creating opportunities.

Shevchenko can create 2-3 opportunities to score and you can bank on it - but without more help up front? I think they get a leaky goal at best against Italy....

Italy scores 1 in regulation. Maybe 2....
Ukraine gets MAYBE 1 goal in regulation.
That's a BIG maybe.
