Had a decent day yesterday picking up 6 units, hope to continue today. I may add others, but here are my picks so far:

Liverpool -1
Porto

It's really simple for Liverpool here. Win, win, and WIN. This is a must win game for them if they want any chance of moving on to the group of 16. Expect Liverpool to attack all day long and not let up on the gas. Lots of controversy between Benitez and the owners right now and it's obvious Benitez is on a mission. They played a flawless game against Newcastle, which could have been a bigger win than 3-0. They absolutely destroyed Besiktas 8-0 in their last CL match and have looked great domestically ever since. Porto have done well but I also believe they overachieved. I like Liverpool up at Anfield in front of their loud and crazy fans to win by at least a couple of goals.

Celtic -0.5
Shaktar Donetsk

Celtic has been impressive lately in the CL, beating AC Milan 2-1 and Benfica 1-0 in their last 2 CL matches. They have also played well domestically, leading the Scottish Premier league. This game is extremely important as the winner could very well determine who goes through to the round of 16. They face Shaktar Donetsk who they lost to on Matchday 3. However, they are playing at home in this one against a struggling Shaktar team. Shaktar have lost their last 2 CL games by a combined score of 7-1, losing to AC Milan both times. They overachieved early on, got some breaks, but lately have shown they don't have the skill to compete with the top clubs of Europe. There are also a few problems in the locker room between midfielder Nery Castillo and team coach Lucescu, and this sort of turmoil is never any good. I like a nice Celtic win here in front of their fans.

Predicted score: Celtic 3-1

Benfica
AC Milan pk and -0.5

AC Milan comes into this game needing at least a draw to secure a spot in the final 16. However, I feel they will go for a win as this will secure top seed in the group without having to play Celtic for it. And Benfica is an easier opponent to beat than Celtic. They will be playing without Pippo Inzaghi and Ambrosini, but Seedorf is probably going to start tomorrow, as well as Ronaldo. I feel that's enough firepower to get the win, and I feel they are motivated enough to go for it.

Predicted score: 2-0 Milan

Adding one more game:

Werder Bremen
Real Madrid pk

Werder will be forced to attack as this is a must win game for them. Real Madrid is a team that usually feasts on these kinds of games, using the counter attack to their advantage. With a few breaks, I can see Madrid pull out a win here.

I'm with you all the way on Celtic Ice, for pretty much the exact same reasons. I've got Porto +1.5, and think that Liverpool's last win in the Champion's League has made them entirely overvalued here (granted 8-nil is quite a beating). I'm on the draw between Real Madrid and Bremen, and am sitting out Benfica-Milan but may look at the game closer now. GL today mate...

Wow, another crazy ending to the Celtic game. I wrote that off as a loss! That's two games now I won at the death.
