I will post my picks here. I paper traded football for about 3 weeks last year and made about 30%. If I am able to make a consistent profit over the next couple of months I will start backing my selections.

I will assume starting with a £2000 bank and will bet 1 to 10 points per pick. I will increase my bets when my bank hits a new high and keep them at the same level when the bank falls.

Thanks. It was a good win for us, as I really did not see Fenerbache getting a result when Chelsea took the lead. They are clearly mentally strong as well being a good football side. Chelsea should still win the tie but I wouldn't rule Fenerbache out.

Yeah it was a walk in the park for Chelsea in the 1st half and I didn't see Fenerbahce coming back into the game until they got the equaliser....what a cool finish by Kazim Richards. I believe Chelsea were over confident and they took their foot off the gas in the 2nd half.

An excellent week with a 14/8-win loss record and a bank increase of just over 25%. The only real disappointment was Schalke who really should have obtained a result against Barca.

On the positive side it was a great win on Pompey and it is nice to see a season without big four domination in the cup. I am sure that they will go on and win it and will hopefully have a good adventure in there maiden European season.

PSV are also looking good to get to the next round in the Uefa cup, which is not as a surprise as they should have been favourites in the market.
