Hello BH

Let's say that we are laying draw @5.00 , stake = 5 EUR

if it ends a draw,we lose 20 EUR
if it does not end draw , we earn 25 EUR (stake not included)

am i right ???

something else ...if it is draw until 70-th ... where do you back draw ? Only at betfair or everywhere else ??

No dude you are very wrong. Laying means you are getting the bets from backers if they lose to win ie.
you will get their 5$ at odds 5 or even 1000 if they lose

BUT

if they win the bet and you lose your lay bet that means you are going to lose your lay bet amount x odds

so in your example 5$ @ 5 you are gonna lose 25 and 5 @1000 means - 5000

By laying bets you are the bookmaker vs the players.

So its the other way around you win their BETS ONLY and lose their BETS X ODDS

I just went to betfair and those are the odds currently on both matches to lay the draw

you can hedge in-play with a different book like 5dimes

Thanks allin for helping me understand. So you would have to just ride it out until FT if you only use matchbook? I already have a 5dimes account, but they don't offer live playing for soccer.

I didn't know they don't offer in-play soccer. Sorry.

I think it is essential to be able to hedge your bet at one point at least to secure it is a risk free position. At least that is how I understood from bettinghedgehog's strategy
