I like the Over in the England game as both sides are likely to score.

Your record doesn't suck. It's the players of the teams you pick that suck!

Czech Republic and Ivory Coast are my early leans for reasons that aren't particularly well founded. Anybody want to confirm or deny this whimsy lean?

I like Turkey and I actually have a Turkey ML/Spain PK 2-teamer, but Turkey is looking too easy and we all know what that means.
I simply don't trust the Netherlands team. I like the Over more in that one.

Hi, can someone be truthful and honest.. I don't know much about soccer but I am willing to lay down a small bet on a parlay. Any advice?

If it makes you feel any better, I just glanced over Honduras' past results and it looks like the last time they played in Europe was in 1982 for the World Cup in Spain. CONCACAF teams typically struggle in Europe for obvious reasons. Honduras' lack of experience on the continent should add to the nervous jitters.

However, Turkey is playing with an interim coach and that is always a tricky situation.

I do think Honduras is better than they are getting credit for, but I doubt they pull out a road result in Turkey.

    Thanks JRLM8.
Honduras is actually being underestimated here but Turkey at home means something else. Having an interim coach works well for Turkey as the he may be working toward securing a permanent deal.

Against a US team missing 3 of their top 6 players? Id take the Dutch by 2.

I know what you're saying but the US will have 11 men on the pitch who won't stand idly and watch. Since this is a friendly, it's hard to tell for how long each team's first team will be on the pitch. I like Netherlands to win though but not by a staggering margin.

I see your point as well. Just remember when US goes second string we are playing Eddie freaking Johnson.

Good point, but he may be looking for that deal elsewhere. Guus Hiddink has the Turkey job starting in August. It still could be a good audition for him to grab another head coaching gig.

Last three Netherlands friendlies ended 0-0. Maybe they are due for an offensive explosion? But the lack of goals are kind of troublesome.

Bulgaria to win over Poland, maybe even with the handicap, but still friendly is a friendly, no motivation factors at all.

I know Spain are huge favorites, but putting them in a parlay when they are facing a desperate French team is not a good idea IMO.

Friendlies like people have said = unpredictable. But looking back at the Brazil/Ireland game yesterday, you could see the favorites getting the job done with players performing to be in the squad for the WC.

    Germany - Arg. / over?
This looks like a simple over, I think both have great offenses but volatile in the back. I think Maradona has had a little too much of an open style with his team, but interesting to see how they play this game.

    England - Egypt / over?
England are under huge pressure to preform well. Egypt are Cup champions + have a lot of technical ability to score from far. If Zidan is playing I think we can see at least 1 goal from them compared to the 2+ expected goals from England. Also keeping in mind is that Egypt didn't qualify for the WC, so they really have nothing to loose IMO and could come out with an open game? Am I right?

    Holland - US / over/Holland ML
Depending on the line ups this should be an easy over.

For the early games tomorrow went with:
    Georgia ML
    Ivory Coast ML
    Slovakia/Norway Under

All these friendlies are getting me amped up for WC. Anybody know websites with some good info on these national teams? Been pretty much using just ESPN and Soccerway, but I want some more info!

Anybody like Belgium/Croatia Over? Both teams look to score in this one based on the amount of goals they've both put in the net in recent action
