    Default Ryan Shawcross

F-ing mug just snapped Ramsey's leg off.

They wouldn't show a replay and he was crying after looking at him..

    Wonder what happened there.

It looked like his ankle was seperated from his leg, it was dangling down.

poor ramsey, ankle or leg is broken. this is the eduardo incident all over.. I'm ****ing tired how teams take on the mentalities of butchers whenever they play arsenal, it's disgusting.

    COME ON GUNNERS YES

My biggest half time bet win to date. Justice for brutal strategy by stoke.

Wow. I book Arsenal (-0.5, -1) at +100 minutes before the game, and booked (pk, +0.5) about 5-6 minutes after Stoke scored for another 3u.

I consider myself a capitalist and a guy that seeks only what's good for him, however this win for me is somewhat bittersweet - I seriously don't know if I'd rather lose those 5u and for Ramsey to be still up on his legs...he had a great a future ahead. I hope it's a lot less worse than it seems..

What a win by Arsenal away from home to the most physical side in the EPL. Chelsea couldn't even tie City LOL.

This is such a significant win for Arsenal. Also I have to admit that I'm learning, and so far I learned to pay more attention to what teams prepare/have more rest. Because Stoke had 2 days rest, Arsenal had 7 days, it made a big difference.

I feel the same way.. but thank god we got the points (and units) or else the boy ramysey would be all I'm thinking about. We've seen from Eduardo this could be a two year injury; one year to heal physically, another to heal mentally. Hope it isn't, but it looked eerily similar.

Don't worry we got paid off after a revenge mission in honor of Ramsey. We should celebrate this win and hope that kid gets better.

If Arsenal can play with the intensity after a situation like that they will win the title over lazy Chelsea.

Feel real bad for Ramsey...such a talented young player that we (United) tried to sign ourselves when he was at Cardiff. As a neutral, I know it was a bad challenge, but Ryan Shawcross is by no means a 'thug'. It was just poor judgement in that moment and I'm sure he feels devestated. Tough for the Gunners though having been through this a few times now with Diaby and Eduardo.

anyhow, hope Ramsey has a speedy recovery.

Nothing wrong with the challenge, Shawcross had every right to go for the ball, he didn't have studs showing, he wasn't even lunging at Ramsey. The ref sent the guy off because of the injury, that wouldn't have got a yellow if nothing major happened. Then he gave the penalty just to wrap it up.

yeah have watched the video over and over and to be honest not sure shawcross was in the wrong at all.. he did have the ball and was only going after it after he sorta lost it.. you can see it all over his face he feels horrible.. didn't mean for it to happen and the card would not have been called if no one got hurt..

Yeah, you need to know football - that was a fair challenge, a bit high but completely honest and going for the ball, Ramsey was just too quick.
Big shame to see that talent out of the game now, i just hope he comes back like Eduardo, if not (it's possible) it will be a huge loss to Arsenal and Wales

Going for the ball or not, it was reckless. For a team who plays physical like Stoke it's just a matter of time before they start breaking legs. I respect their efforts on the pitch, but I hate how they play the game.
