Kashima Antlers vs Gamba Osaka...Game being played in Toyko...

Dont have much of a clue here,anyone know anything like lineups,playing surface there in tokyo..other little tidbits?

Kashima Antlers have the best name. I can get some info, give me a few minutes and i can get a hold of a guy i know who plays that league alot.

Don't know anything about the Japanese league to be honest so I'll be staying away from this one.

I remember Adelaide United played against Gamba Osaka in the Asian CL a while ago and Gamba looked like quite a good team, passing the ball around very well. However, the Japanese teams are a class above the Aussie teams so maybe that's why they looked so good. Not sure how good Gamba is compared to the other Japanese teams.

Kashima is the play here. They won the last three Japan League titles and are playing a strong line up.

They won on tuesday in the asian champions league and are playing pretty much their top lineup tonight.

Gamba is a decent side so it could be a good match, but Kashima has alot of motivation to for this as

Gamba knocked them out of the Emperors Cup. Sounds like the Japs take this cup serious.

We played Gamba in the World Club Cup in '08...we played a full strength squad against them...we were up 5-1 winning 5-3 in the end but they played quite a spirited game.

btw...the J-League have the best kits out there!
