    Default Champions League Tuesday

What is everyone feeling for tomorrow's CL games ? I see Barca beating Stuttgart, and the over there.

In Greece, I like Bordeaux to grab an away goal, possible draw at good value (+205) and the over at only 2 goals may be a trap, but I know for a fact these teams can score and do in the CL.

Let's get some discussion going, and maybe come up with some plays to make the games more enticing to watch if we have wagered on them.

I'm liking the over in the Man U game as well at 3 goals, worst case push seems like, waiting for EP's Tuesday pick(s) as well.

BOL to everyone tomorrow and in the future!!!

    The games are quite tricky.

Stuttgart/Barcelona: Stuttgart are in great form right now and they can get 1 or 2 goals against Barcelona. One thing to note about Barcelona is that the only games they've lost this season are games in which they trailed. With Stuttgart's offense firing on all cylinders, Stuttgart are capable of taking the lead. If that happens, a nice upset beckons. We should also note that:
    1) Barcelona will be missing Keita and Abidal, while the status of Alves and Xavi is unsure.
    2) Ibrahimovic isn't particularly prolific in the CL, especially on the road.

This may end in either a draw (+285) or a Stuttgart win (+400).

Bordeaux +145 should take care of business in Greece.

Not big on either particularly. The Barca OVER is getting heavy play already.

^ I'd expect that because the game beckons goals. You know Stuttgart wants at least 2, and I can't see Barca shitting the bed and not getting at least one away goal.

The best thing is to stay away from the games.

For the United match, I think we'll throttle the Hammers at least 3-0 especially coming off a bad loss to the Toffees. We need this one way more than the Hammers do. We'll have Vidic and Rio back for this match so that will shore up our back 4 and if the Hammers go 4-5-1 we'll be able to contain Cole. I doubt they start Franco playing two quick games in succession after just recovering from injury so they'll probably save him against Bolton. Hopefully Fergie goes 4-4-2 with Rooney and Berba up front, but sometimes he's not the best tactician.

Agree with the Bordeaux play. I think they're actually one of the most complete teams remaining in the competition...my darkhorse to win it...they are so versatile able to play with a physical style or with finesse which they showed in the group stage. Will be tough though playing in a hostile environment..Olympiakos are tough to beat at home...a draw may be a good bet.

Tough to bet against Barca here.

Sevilla were my dark horse to win the CL, but I may demote them to a brown horse. They can be very inconsistent.

dios mios they have cost me a lot of money whichever way I wager on them. They're my personal bogey team!

They're like the Denver Nuggets of the NBA. When you expect them to lose, they win. When you expect them to win easily, they lose.

Games are very tough to decide. Maybe a pass on both for me.

I'll just watch the Barca game and that'll be all. Won't do any bet on any of those games.

Really? Mine as well. They just never make it for me. Last time away to Mallorca. Valencia is my other bogey team. I should just stay away from the also-rans in the La Liga I suppose.

Anyone have insight on how many players will Barca have back for todays match ?

There might be an upset today.

Keita and Abidal out. Alves and Xavi are a gametime decision. Ibra is also doubtful.
    Things to also note:
    1) Stuttgart are in great form right now and could score the first goal. Significance: Barca have trailed in the games they've lost this season.
    2) It's rare for all favorites to win on any given European night. That is, it's very likely that one of these won't win: Benfica, Barcelona and Bordeaux. You take your pick.

Barca lineup for those that wondered:

Valdes - Puyol, Marquez, Pique, Maxell - Busquets, Yaya, Xavi - Messi, Ibra, Iniesta

Looks a very strong side to me. I'd be worried if I was on Stuttgart.

I live near Stuttgart...yes they are in good form, but don't get carried away, Barca is still a way way better team. With or without the doubtful players, the common opinion of the people here is that we are nothing but heavy underdogs.

excellent call on that Cacau goal!!!

The Germans are playing with fire here. i'm all for pressing, but they are open to a counter attack, Barca is just a step away from breaking one. they just keep clogging the middle in their own end and has proved quit effective. should be a ripper of a 2nd H
