As much as I despise the scousers, I think they'll beat, or at least draw with $hitty City. Having watched City's last 3 matches, they were absolutely dreadful. Lucky to have drawn with Stoke and eventhough they beat Bolton it wasn't a pretty game. Now, they'll be without Tevez, Kompany, Vieira, Petrov and Johnson. Not sure how City handles the pressures of being in the top 4....and Pool always seem to end other club's good runs. I think I just stay away from this one.

Not sure about Birmingham either; they seem to have hit the wall after overachieving the first half of the season...Fulham are so tough at the Cottage and they look like they've gotten better the second half.

good luck though. I hope Citeh beat the Scouse...I can't believe I just said that.

Fulham have had their injuries and they've had to cope with a big run of games in the EPL, FA Cup and Europa League. I think Fulham will start to tire in the EPL and that's why I think Birmingham can get at least a draw in this one. Both are good, solid, consistant, mid-table teams so it should be a good battle.

Man City's poor form is one of the reason's I've tipped them here, even though that probably doesn't make sense. I think they'll be really determined to bounce back and show people that they belong in the top 4. By beating Liverpool they'll be moving 4 points ahead of them in the race for 4th so they'll be desperate to get a win to give themselves some breathing space. Liverpool did go on a good run recently but a lot of those good results have come at home, away from Anfield they struggle to beat teams like Stoke, Portsmouth and Wolves so I think they'll struggle against Man City too.

As Liverpool's midweek Europa game showed, they really do struggle offensively, even against poor teams. Liverpool's good run has been mostly built on their solid defence but I think Man City has enough quality to break them down and get the win. They might be missing Tevez but they've still got players like Adebayor and Santa Cruz to cover for that loss. That's the benefit of spending millions, you can have injuries and still replace them with top quality players.

Really looking forward to the games tonight, some very interesting match ups.

I can see your angle...I just don't like how Mancini has changed his tactics the last 3 matches...gone from attacking football to defensive football with some of his starting selections. Hey, what do I care...yeah, I live here in Manc but I'm a United supporter. So I'll cheer for Citeh and look forward to hearing another Rafa rant. Good luck with your picks.

Blackburn should be a solid play. Can't see how Bolton will score against the Rovers...after watching their match against Wigan the other day, got to say both those teams did not look like premiership quality. Only 1 shot on target between the two. The under as well would be a good play here I would think. Could end a 0-0 bore draw, but can't see Bolton keeping a clean sheet in this one.

Yeah, both teams are generally lacking creativity in their offense, which means they have to be quite solid defensively in order to pick up points. Now that Bolton has Owen Coyle in charge, that should gradually start to change but he hasn't had enough time with the team, for that to take full effect yet. This game is a definately a good candidate to go under.
