Smogs Saturday Picks
I didn't want to risk too many units this weekend so stuck to just the 2 in total. Already i am regretting missing out on Newcastle because i was so close to dropping a unit on them.
Anyway - my bets.....
1 Unit - Swindon/Carlisle Over 2.5 @ 4/5
I love this bet, i had it eyed up on Tuesday and got the early price on it.
What is important for me on this game is that both teams are both good scorers home and away respectively, and both have recent form with plenty of goals.
Swindon on average are letting in a goal a game and scoring closer to two.
Carlisle are no mugs on the road and like to concede even more.
With both teams confident of a win in this match, i think we will see plenty of goals and if i had the balls, i would have made this a 2 unit bet. I haven't because of my recent patchy form and do not want to go silly.
1/2 Unit - Nott'm Forest @ Evens
I love betting against Boro and even though i am not as confident as my first bet of the day, i still think this offers value.
I spoke last weekend of Forest being dangerous to bet on at home as their away form is poor recently, however i think the lack of form overall for Boro (yes they have had a good run, but on the road performances and goals are dropping) will end in a home win.
1/2 Unit - Exeter @ 8/11
I lost last week on Colchester as Stockport did well to grab a point, but on the road i think they will continue to fail in their aim for a win.
Not only that but Exeter's home form is literally keeping them in the league, and this is a 3 points they must get if they do not want to see themselves drop further towards relegation.
Stockport do draw a lot of games but they have just one point from their last 6 on the road and have just 3 goals with that.
Exeter love the home draw also so i may not exactly be getting value here but i like the bet
Anyone think i should still go with Newcastle? Everything points to the home win
