Cool The Karayilan Thread - Part 2

The old thread is something like 100 pages long so its time for something new.

The thread has moved to here, needed some new energy, feel free to contribute and share any info you have.

    Let's get this started.

    The last threads record was - W 281. P 18. L 196

    Turkish League - Bursaspor v Trabzonspor - Trabzon -0 @ +100/ 2 18:00 GMT PUSH

Bursaspor have been great at home but this match comes at a tough time for them, they crashed out the cup in a cruel way, they were beating Fenerbahce 3-0 but let in a goal in the 92'nd minute and were eliminated. They played a full squad for that game and now their star Sercan Yildirim is out, Ipek is doubtfull and Sen is suspended. They will be demoralized after the last game and its up to the manager if he can turn this frustration into passion for a win. Trabzon on the other hand are playing the best football in Turkey, I've been on the train for a while and said back in the winter break that they would be the team to watch after legendary manager Senol Gunes returned from the wilderness and they haven't lost a game since he took over. Bursa is missing key players and moral is low but they are at home, this could come down to a tactical battle and I'd take Gunes over Saglam. Both teams are known for their attacking style but Bursa have more defensive problems and the way Trabzon move the ball so fast they might have trouble tonight. Value is on Trabzon, I'd take them ML but -0 for insurance at evens is worth it.

Karay, are you taking Stoke today? I have about 10 minutes to get my bets in and wanted to try and get a sneak preview into your other bets.

    CL - Lyon v Real Madrid - Real Madrid @ +110/ 2.1 19:45 GMT LOSS

Real's attack could leave Lyon's defense wishing they never turned up, I'm taking HT and -1 small aswell.

    EPL - Stoke v Man City - Stoke +0/+0.5 @ -110/ 1.9 19:45 GMT WIN

Stoke are on a roll and play their best stuff at home, away teams find it hard to play here infront of the fiery crowd. Man City are missing their hands down best player this season Tevez, plus Bellamy, Kompany are out injured and Shaun Wright-Phillips, Stephen Ireland and Martin Petrov could miss out. Man City will miss Tevez and Bellamy in this game and bring the team passion. Stoke are being underestimated here and the value is on them, Tuncay and Fuller could give the unconfident City defense problems.

Why doesn't this team have any fans, they were outnumbered by those white birds that stormed the pitch, at least they turned out for their team there was some serious wildlife in that game, all sorts of creatures flying about.

Anyway our trip to the zoo ends with a 4-0 win

    CL - Porto v Arsenal - Porto -0/0.5 @ +100/ 2 19:45 GMT WIN

Final lineups out and Arsenal are up against it in this game, Campbell may find it hard suddenly going from lower league football to the CL. Song is out and that will be a big miss if Arsenal are to play a defensive game. Porto have a great record at home especially against Arsenal and are always underestimated and we are told they arn't what they were last year but somehow they always make it this far.

    Brazil - Flamengo v Botofago - Flamengo @ +100/ 2 23:50 GMT LOSS

    Copa Libertadores - D.Cuenca v Banfield - Cuenca @ +130 / 2.3 00:15 GMT LOSS

Cuenca playing at 2500 m altitude, its very hard to go up that high and play a 90 minute game of football if your not used to it. These mountain teams are notorious at home and Cuenca have a very strong home record. Banfield will start feeling it in the second half and will be barely walking by the 70-80th minute.

    Kara,

Under was technically a very solid play but I'm surprised that those folks combined for 3 goals in the 1H.

    BOL next time.

    Europa Cup - Twente v Werder Bremen - Twente +0/+0.5 @ +100 / 2 18.00 GMT

Twente being underestimated here, Bremen are an unpredictable team, they are capable of playing well but they shouldn't be road favorites. Twente are strong at home and have alot of quality plus a good manager, they could at least get a draw in this game.
    Europa Cup - Clubbe Brugge v Valencia - Valencia -1 @ +150 / 2.5 18.00 GMT

If Valencia turns up they have what it takes to smoke this team, question is, will they bother, they are fielding the A team so they are showing intent to begin with at least.

    English Championship - Newcastle v Preston - Newcastle -1 @ -110/ 1.9 15:00 GMT WIN

Newcastle are a beast at home and returned to winning ways last game at St James Park, Preston have the second worst road defense in the league, Newcastle have the best defense. Now Newcastle are missing a few good players, so are Preston, the home advantage and psychological factors could come into play here. The Newcastle home crowd can be intimidating especially to teams not used to playing in that kind of environment but the most striking fact about the history between these two teams is Preston has never beat them at home since 1963, let's hope it stays like that tomorrow.
