    Default Arsenal v Liverpool

Arsenal are due for a win. Liverpool have done well recently but away from Anfield they are not the same team (loss to Portsmouth, draw Wolves, Stoke, Reading). Arsenal will be hungry for a win here and I think they will get it.

Liverpool are a team that can strengle hold you and frustrate you. I like the under, but how long can Liverpool go with these unders? If Arsenal come out on fire, they could score 3, tough to call and what Liverpool team turns up.

1-1 draw like they usually do at the Emirates. Arsenal won't lose 2 straight at home (haven't done that in 10 years), but based on their last matches against the top two, aren't convincing me that they can beat Pool. Pool always turn up for the big games and they've seemed to have turned the corner now that Rafa has changed some of his tactics. As much as I love seeing Pool lose, I think they'll do what Chelsea and United did; try to push them around the park.

^^ I agree with devil, as much as I want Arsenal to win I don't think they have the offensive power to finish goals against big teams. They'll have like 80% possession but who do they have to finish the goals... Bendtner? Real hope still lies with ARshavin and Fabregas, and the game relies heavily on how good Liverpool can defend against these 2.

The draw always has value. Maybe over in corners or bookings is also a good options.

Liverpool is clearly stronger now than earlier this season, and Arsenal is
    shaken, "wounded like an animal".

I've thought a lot about this game and I would put money on X2 if the odds were over 2.
Currently my bookie just gives me 1.75. Maybe a small stake on the draw, but it's a really
tough game to get some money out of.

last 4 matches between liv and ars wore 2 draw and 2 wins for arsenal . last time when they `ve done a blank score it was in `99 (0-0) ;we will see goals in this match . over 2 and 2.5 has a nice odd on pinnacle , 1.83.

everton - chelsea is more like a draw to me...

seriously, liverpool's greatest threaten will be man city, imo, spurs and villa cant keep this level for the rest of the season. city has lost 3 vital points at hull on saturday, but won last night w/ bolton...liverpool needs 3 points, 1 is not enough for them, especially since they will play at man city

This can be a tricky game....both team with scoring problems, and missing players....my choice is under for this game

arsenal has a low morale now after the 2 defeats, and their defense looks very fragile. i think this could go over

Arsenal win here. They don't wanna get dragged into the battle for 4th and remember Liverpool have been winning very tight lately. Arsenal goes up 1 and that's game IMO.

I am with you ! Just made a large bet at Betphoenix Arsenal FC (Alt 1)/Liverpool FC (Alt 1) ( O 2,2½ 0.847) (FG)

    Arsenal home Goals scored
    35 goals allowed 14 = 49 goals in 12 games
Liverpool on the road Goals scored 12 goals allowed 15 = 29 in 12 games

    So 29 +49 = 78 / 24 = 3.25 goals per match

I believe over 2 and 2.5 is the best bet here .
After a loss to Chelsea i expect Arsenal to come out strong we should see GOALS
both teams will play for a win .

For those who wants to bet the draw. Arsenal's home games versus Liverpool's away games (24 in total), there have been 58% Home Wins, 17% Draws and 25% Away Wins (14-4-6). A similar comparison for all Arsenal's games versus all Liverpool's games (50 in total) produces the following: 44% Home Wins, 18% Draws and 38% Away Wins (22-9-19).

Would have been more comfortable backing a draw in the EVR/CHE match had Fellaini and Pienaar been available. Without those two in the midfield, I think Everton will really struggle this game. Chelsea's big weakness has been defending set plays, and Fellaini is a monster in the air (maybe it's just all that hair?). Think Chelsea nicks this 2-1 (Fat Frank to win it on a PK after Drogba goes down like a baby)

I'm going for the over 2.5 also.

I know both teams have struggled to score against big clubs recently, but facing each other's volatile defenses can produce at least 2-1 or 2-2 IMO.

im so happy for felaini, ghe deserves to be injured after shoting the ball in kuyt's face from 10 inches...the english tv have only shown the replay once.

and chelsea should win, altough they won't have an easy task

They will depend on Drogba today.

    Hopefully he comes through.

Looking at Liverpool...even if Torres, Benayoun, g. johnson and Aquilani are available, they still need serious improvement. N'Gog is a \*\*\*\*\*\*, dont know what Benitez sees at him, he hasnt shown anything yet, tough he was given many chances.
Liverpool have big problems in dominating a match. I watch them weekly and for instance, they were playing wolves i think 2 weeks ago, and won 2-0 (or bolton). They've scored a very lucky 2nd goal with a huge deflection from a defender. they win, but don't convince anybody imo..

They need a forward (or if they move kuyt central, they need another winger). Maybe a new coach....
