Default Monday Night Football - A league

So with the terrible weather from saturday night preventing the derby between Central Coast and Newcastle was wondering what people's thoughts were?

I would have been on CC if it played on saturday. This being to Newcastle having played a midweek match and not having much rest.

I am thinking Newcastle might be the play here. Not decided on Over/Under as haven't looked too far into the match.

    What's your thoughts?

I agree - I think the couple of days rest is perfect for them. They do have the classier players in my opinion.

Quick question for you more educated soccer fans. What does it mean when the spread says "pk,-1/2" or "pk,+1/2". Am I betting on this game @ a PK or at -1/2, I'm confused by this.

Both. It means you lose half your stake or win half your stake depening the - or +.

    Its basically -0.25.

So if the score ends 0-0, I would push half & win the other half if i played pk,+1/2. Right?

Looks like Jets captain Thompson could line up. If he does I would take Jets PK, he's their best player hands down.

    Take the over
Newcastle has allowed at least 2 goals in 4 of their last 5 games and they have gone over in 2 of their last 3 meetings

Not sure about the over. CC have scored only 4 in their last 6 and now they lost Mrjda.

Exactly! There's no edge to either side even though the visitors are the better side. I'll either do Newcastle or pass.

I think newcastle is guaranteed a play off spot now and central coast have no shot.
I assume that there isnt a whole lot to play for. but really dont know.
    Im staying away.

Visitors are the better side but so was Brisbane before they faced Adelaide on Saturday. This round is proving hard to pick. Teams are at their most dangerous when they have nothing to play for but pride. No bet for me.

I'm on the fence here too...Nothing to play for = from me.

Good luck to anyone who does bet

Let's play on under 2.5! I think better chances!

    Central Coast up 2-0

Best thing about this is I don't have to watch the game anymore

Yeah New Castle trailing 0-2 and one player down red carded.
    No hope
