Default EPL: Golden Year of Scoring?

Wow. I haven't completely gone through the history of the England Premier League, but the scoring rolls that Rooney, Drogbha and Tevez have been on recently - not to mention Defoe from Tottenham this season - seem unparalleled in the history of this league. So much great individual talent. Seems like Rooney and Droghba are embattled in an anything you can do, I can do better battle for the top scorer in the league. Just oustanding football/soccer.

Expect even more goals next year. Next year when Torres becomes fit and Arsenal finally buy some top top caliber players then we can see a hell of a lot more.

There was also couple of incredible seasons in the first years of premier league, If my memory serves me right somewhere between 1993 and 1995. Alan Shearer was just unstoppable, Andy Cole was very very good, Ian Wright was still able to score goals and "Le God" Matt Le Tissier - the best of them all - was something that english football had never seen. I believe there was a one season when all of them scored 25+ goals, Shearer and Cole probably 30+.
