Default Anyone think under 2.5 City/United is the clever play??

Last 3 meetings at Eastlands have been 1-0 either way.

No Adebayor, City looking poor in front of goal all of a sudden. Strong lineups and a local derby. 2 legged affair, neither wanting to get caught out early.

5/6 on the under looks tasty. Also, maybe a possible trap, surely the public will pound the over

I was thinking the over, although City looked like a different team last time out, but they had been scoring alot of goals. tough call.

im on the over...i think that city's wants to avenge the last result, that 4-3....
tevez is in good form, he plays against his former team...

im leaning on the over mister smogs

I think Man U could take this, I've been riding the Man City train in the EPL but they haven't faced any real opposition until they met Everton and we all saw what happened their. All is not well in the City camp, Fergy would like to get one up over his rivals and show Manchini who the real maestro is. I'd wait for the final line-ups first but the early lean is Man U not to lose, the price of +200 is generous for them as it stands.

i rarely bet on unders..i hate it...we all know that in football 3 goals can easily come in 10 minutes sometimes...just think of bari-inter...60th minute, everything was peaceful and then : BOOM 2-2 in 15 minutes...no one saw that coming, dont u think ?

and i also think that utd wont be happy with 0-0...they wanna score cuz its a 2 legs stage, and the away goal is so important

Away goals don't count do they??? In terms of champions league format etc, i thought they don't hold the same significance unless they changed the ruling in the last year or so?

    Kara,

City have one of the worst home/road splits in the EPL. So their loss to Everton can't be used to assess their prospects against Man Utd. The game is a tough call but Man City PK and Under would be my leans.

Lets see, City have played poor teams since Mancini came in. Everton are a shit team, lets be honest, but the way they play and get results is solid and Man City were found out. This will be a huge test for Mancini and i can guarantee he knows it. He wants the win, but that defense is horse sh!t and United could easily win this game you would think. Well, i don't thinks its going to be a 4-3 or anything remotely close to that as i think this game will have 1 goal in it to win it and it may come in ET too. So my money will probably be on the under. City will be up for this game and i think Mancini will keep his defense in check....but for how long? If City do play well, they could nick this game, but i see United sticking their nails in and trying to grinnd out a result, though they may lose from a freak goal from city too, its a hard call, but as i said, i like the under.

After Ronaldo's exit, Man Utd's invincibility disappeared into thin air. The City that narrowly lost to Man Utd by 4-3 isn't as good as the City that'll be playing this game. I can't fade Man City at home against a team that lost to Leeds!

City should beat United, they have everything to do it and imo, they look better on paper and Tevez is in great form. I will be interested to see the lineups.

Man Shity loss to Everton is fresh in everyones head but lets not forget United lost to Leeds at Old Traf with a strong line up. Shity PK for me.

If the match is level on aggregate at the end of 90 minutes away goals do not count and the match goes to extra time. The away goal rule only comes into effect if the score is still level at the end of extra time.

Both teams with huge absenses. It's impossible to cap this game unless the line ups are announced. No play.

I took the under for the very reasons you wrote in the initial post. The public play will be on the over yet my book is offering +odds for it.
