Money Clip English Premier picks for Wednesday 12-16-09

Here are my picks for today's games.

    Arsenal - ML (Burnley)
    Chelsea - ML (Portsmouth)
    Liverpool - ML (Wigan Athletic)

I think this is a winner.

I was taken by the great odds on Burnley, so I have Burnley - Arsenal 1X @ 2.7.
Don't think it's worth the risk with Liverpool, with odds 1.3 - 1.35 for a win.

this midweek stuff can be a bit dodgy.. i just put together a small parlay to at least get some money out there.

    Arsenal FC 1.50
    Portsmouth Team Total U 0.5 1.80
    Manchester City Team Total O 1.5 2.20

The chalk on those lines makes it almost impossible to make any kind of profit with the ML.

Best thing to do IS parlay all 3 on the ML, or be smart and weed out the rotten egg (I know there is going to be at least one).

    I'm rollin w/ Liverpool AH-1 & Arsenal AH-1 combo.

I wouldn't touch Arsenal with a long pole in that spot.

what 'spot' do you consider arsenal to be in? a chance to move within 3 points of united with a game at hand should have the gunners focused for a good win.

And the Burnley players will just stand idly on the pitch and watch? Burnley isn't an easy place to get a result at. I don't see Burnley losing to Arsenal. We'll see anyways.

yeah you did.. losing cesc hurt us hugely today. should have been 3-0 up early but classic gunners.. oh well.

late tottenham goal for the over saves the day though!
