Default England Soccer End of January

Guys, I'm going to be in Geneva and London and at the end of January. My only free days will be Saturday, January 30th and Sunday the 31st in the London area.

Last year I did the Stonehenge/Avebury/Bath tours, but this year I'd like to take in a soccer...err...football match. It would be my first one (other than my daughter's grade school matches!).

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

wow they are expensive in maracana the tickets are 30-60 r which is about 15-30 usd but bigger games they go up little but if you know someone like team director you get em real cheap well that's the prices i pay im not really sure how much they are cause im friend with flamengo director and usually have to buy a package to get that 30-60 price they can go as high as 120 but still no where as steep as England wow that's expensive i would pay tho just the atmosphere alone is worth it

Tickets are probably closer to $75 .. however the United match would be sold out already .. tickets would only be available to members/season ticket holders ... so it's a sellers market .... a very small number of tickets would be sold on "official" sites outside the UK ...so they can set the price at whatever they want .... if you look on that site above the game against Stoke can be had for $275 ...

Here is a nice guide for the 07/08 season.

yea i noticed i figured that i have Yankee season tickets here in NY last 8 years i had sat only season ticket with great seats so in order to keep my seats this year i had to buy full season due to new stadium so instead of me and my brother in law sharing the sat season we went in with 4 other people to go the whole season was worth it plus can never make every game so we sold tickets here their our world series tickets sold for around 6K each on stub hub a lil cheaper for div finals we made back almost what we spent on the season tickets, expenses etc... LOL

Astros for major league baseball, Texans for NFL football, Dynamo for soccer, plus we have some good college teams for football and basketball like University of Houston. And University of Texas and Texas A&M are not that far away.

    Great suggestion!

On January 30 Fulham is hosting Aston Villa. I will attend this game if I can instead of Arsenal/Man U.
