Default One soccer play - Thursday

    2-teamer: Villareal/Valencia +196

Villareal: Villareal are on a resurgence. They lost narrowly to Lazio in the reverse fixture and with their current form, they're in a perfect spot for a "W". Lazio are struggling mightily in the league as they're winless in their L9 league games. They now have their eyes set on their next league game, more so that today's game isn't a must-win. It also help matters that Julio Cruz, Ousmane Dabo, Mourad Meghni and Francelino Matuzalem are all unavailable for Lazio.

Valencia: Even without the industrious Villa, Valencia have more than Slavia Prague can handle. The team have expressed their desire to win this game and that's the only assurance we need from them. To help matters, Slavia have won only one of their L22 European games while Valencia have lost only one of their L12 road games in Europe.

    1-1 +0.53 since Nov 1, 2009.

Anderlecht and Fernabahce look like easy wins. I also think Heerenveen will do the double over Hertha. Hertha just can stop losing right now.

I am afraid of the hertha game. I think it will end up in a draw. Hertha is missing some players so it will be a tough one. But I don't see them losing

I just read that Funkel will rest his best players. He doesn't care about this game in Heerenveen. So it should be Heerenveen to win...

From the previews I've done, it's like if one was to make this 5-teamer, it should hit:

    Valencia/Galatasaray/Heerenveen/Fenerbahce/Anderletch

    Valencia with a 1-0 lead.

Guys, do you know Valencia have kept clean sheets in 5 of their L6 competitive games?

Valencia is playing well right now. I am watching the game, they could easily be up 3-0. They had a goal called back for offsides, but replay indicated that it was clearly onside. Look for more goals by Valencia in the second half.

    Valencia 2-0. That's wrapped up.

We now need Villareal to follow Valencia's example. Afterall, both names start with a "V" and when you join two "V"s, you get a "W". So we should get a winner tonight.

Why all these? Two goals in 10 minutes by 10 men!

    Today: 0-1 -1.00
    1-2 -0.47 since Nov 1, 2009.

I hope to recoup my losses during the weekend.

Now that Valencia has crashed the 2-teamer, Villareal are doing so well with a 3-0 lead in the 1H.

    Hybris,

We'll recover this weekend. Valencia are up 2-0 against 10 men, and they still screw up. They had kept clean sheets in 5 of their L6 competitive games and now conceded 2 goals in 10 minutes.
