Whose your Upset pick today?
Over the past few weeks this forum seemed to have had some good luck picking a few upsets with UEFA. What does everyone think will be the biggest shocker today?
I like Stuttgart to pull off the upset today....even thought they've never scored a goal at Sevilla!

Rubin Kazan, they are so far east they are almost in Central Asia, the weather conditions will be harsh something most Barcelona players arn't used to, Kazan are strong in their domestic league, Barcelona have been struggling lately Kazan could catch them out again.
Liverpool and Olympiakos CFP , not big upsets but they are dogs.
Pavy whats your oppinion on Olympiakos, there missing quite a few players, But so are Liege, Olympiakos dont travel that well either, is a -0 worth it?

Agree with Kara as far as price, Rubin might be the best option - but I think that one might wind up a draw at worst for Barca. Weather being what it is, they need a point. Surprising road wins? Maybe Rangers or Olympiakos. Rangers could steal a straight up win perhaps after falling flat on their asses in the 1st leg.

Rangers are an overrated team, they have a big name but not much else, they will be missing Mendes and other players today. Urinea manager Petrescu knows the football played in the UK very well. Rangers are in deep sh*t, the clubs in big debt, all the players have been told they could be sold which isn't good for moral, they haven't produced any players recently because they have closed some of their academies. These two teams are moving in opposite directions, this Rangers team are of no higher quality than their opposition today, actually they are worse.
Demize, I think the Sao bet looks good also, but like you I dont have the DNB, and they've slipped a bit to +175.

I don't think Olympiakos can win this game. They would be playing not to concede a goal in my opinion and Standard will not commit themselves to attacking from the beginning. I see a 0-0 or 1-0 game.
Die hard Olympiakos fan here. Two key defensive players might be out for Olympiakos. If Zewlakow and Mellberg are out I wouldn't touch this game. Olympiakos' front line is injured and although a win will clinch them a spot in the next round I don't see them winning the game. If Zewlakow, Mellberg are playing I'm going with the under
I think I'll be going with the PK, +1/2 (-109) on the Olympiakos game. Liege just has looked terrible as of late, and I don't really see things turning around for them in Champions League when they're struggling to stay at the top of their league table.
What do you guys think about the Inter/Kiev game? I'm trying to get a read on this, and am leaning towards an Inter win and an over, but Kiev is mighty strong at home and may be a false dog
Inter needs a win badly, but playing on the road is a scary proposition. Tough game to call and seems the bookmakers are split as well
Kazan upset Barca againtailed Pavy's +1 and took the Under1.5 and correct score 0-0.
Be careful with Dynamo Kiev they are unbeated at home in something like 20 games and the weather conditions are going to similar to that in the Kazan game today.

Olympiacos could get a Win or Draw today, Zico is good manager and will have answers for this Standard Liege team.

I've been impressed with Zico as a manager since his days at Fenerbahce, he has a good record in the Champions League, I think Olympiacos could return with a draw or win on this encounter.
