isnt -1 and the ML the same thing? both win by 1???

Whats the difference between -1 and picking to win straight up? if you win straight its al least by 1 correct. Please help sorry for my ignorance.

If you play -1 and the final score is 3-2 then you don't win because you must subtract 1 from the 3 whereas if you play ML and the score is 3-2 you win.

and when you usually - points goals your getting better odds compared to ML

in asian handicap, -1 ended 1-0 means money back...in normal handicap means lose
