Default AZ ALKMAAR +1000 thoughts????

Playing today in the UEFA Champions league. Does anyone think they have a chance? Does this have any value and if it does what can I hedge my bet on? Thinking of taking it for 100 or 200.... Let me know what your thinking?

hi t carn, havent had a chance to look at it , this is game is for tommorrow...
At first glance though, It looks like a slim chance for Az to pull out a win @ Arsenal
Az are currently sitting in 7th in the netherlands league. Arsenal are 3rd in the EPL.
Just my opinion, Arnsenal are the better team this year and Az should have more focus in bettering their record in their league.
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 5 CL games ,while Az are winless in their last 3 CL games.
Arsenal beat Stand Liege away.3-2. Az tied St.Liege 1-1 home
Arsenal beat Olympiakos @ home 2-0 . Az lost 1-0 away.
Id be interested in what others think of this game also...

Well it really depends on which arsenal team shows up, they are pretty scary at the emirates. AZ has really fallen off this year, and drew last game to a lucky goal in the 90 minute. Arsenal giving 2 goals at home is right, they will attack the whole 90 minutes, the over is a better bet hoping that AZ puts one in.

IF Pontus Werbloom starts for AZ they have a slim chance but I wouldnt bet them, Arsenal can beat them playing at 55-60%

I think Zurich for the same price is a better bargain.

I don't even think Alkmaar will score, obviously you are not familiar with Arsenal and their record at the Emirates.

dissapointed with the Unirea odds, i think the home team will win, but not worth the risk at those odds

Anything is possible in these games. Alkmaar could win the 1H.

Alkmaar scoring first would probably be a better option if you think Alkmaar will win the 1st half. That way it covers the chance of Arsenal getting a 1-1 draw at the half which would kill that Alkmaar 1st Half bet.

Koeman knows Wenger well. He's never lost against him, with Ajax, PSV, and now AZ. Nothing flashy about his AZ (unlike Van Gaal's AZ). I would expect a gritty effort from AZ, a low scoring affair, and wouldn't be surprised if they shared the points. Not a must win for Arsenal.

AZ +2 and U3

at what odds? my other bet today is Seville to beat Stuttgart at 4/9. Stuttgart are faltering in the german league and Seville have a great home record in the champions league
