Default One soccer pick - Monday

    Reading/Leicester UNDER 2 (+120)

    Things to note:
    1) In the L6 Reading home games, only 1 has gone Over 2. In fact, 3 of those 6 have gone UNDER 2.
    2) In the L6 Leicester road games, only 1 has gone Over 2. In fact, 3 of those 6 have gone Under 2.
    3) Reading hasn't scored more than one goal at home. On the road, only once has Leicester scored more than one goal.

Aware of those facts, some books have set the total for this game at 2 with the Over at -160 and Under at +120. What this line tells you is that no more than 2 goals are expected in this game.

Given their offensive mediocrity, Reading know that their only chance of winning this game is by not conceding. So one expects Reading to play with a "containment" approach. As for Leicester, this game isn't a must-win, so a draw will be fair deal. Leicester is also notable for road draws as 4 of their L6 road games have ended in draws.
Forget all the talk about Reading missing one or two defenders. Their makeshift defense is still capable of a good job if the whole team plays with a "containment" approach.
On the whole, this game will be characterized by such a high-level of caginess that will keep goals at a premium. I hardly see more than one goal in this affair. At best, one can get a push.

I like the Under, only thing that is worrying is that Reading are missing their captain who is also their key defender and their left back, Readings defense isn't great their big problem is not being able to score. Leicestar will start with a cautious approach, unlike Reading they have a good defense but similar to Reading they don't have the best finishers.

Reading want a win at home, Leicestar don't want to loose on the road, Reading find it hard to score Leicestar defend well, the situation is right for an Under here, plus at home Reading are 80% Under while Leicestar are 80% Under on the road.

    Kara,

Yes, Reading have some concerns in defense but Leicester's offense on the road isn't that great. Even an Ipswich average defense that's conceding more goals than Reading's was still able to shutout Leicester. Overall, I'm happy with my Under play.

love under as leicester is a defensive team ,reading forward line doesnnt seems to click as they defeated in last 3 games and leicester won 4 last games .

Nice pick with Reading having the worst strikers I've ever seen

The combination of Leicester's defensive grittiness and Reading's offensive sloppiness will maintain this 0-1 score.

Damn, I chose both the under and the draw $10 each. Bet cancels out but would have loved a draw.

Exactly! There was really nothing today. I'm glad we cashed this one. I also tailed TurkzZ's Bielefeld pick. So it's a 2-0 day for me.

NHL is a pass for me. I'm looking at the Under in the NFL game. Or I may just pass entirely and look for a solid soccer pick tomorrow. I'm liking:

Italy: Udinese +140 to heap more misery on Roma.

    I've replied your PM.

I just browsed through the Carling Cup games and depending on the lineups, Peterborough +350 at Blackburn may deserve a look.

tomorrow big bet on JUVENTUDE (against bahia). bahia is horrible (i live in Bahia ). probably bahia will relegate this session, and juventude needs to win this game, because next 3 games will be very very difficult.
