Default Pinnaclesports - noob point spread question

Im not still an amatuer in these as i still experience all sorts of waging method. In sports bet, they offer the point spread -1.5, so if your team beats the other by at least 2 goal then you win. But in pinnaaclesports they offer this too "-1 and -1.5". What does it mean

-1/1.5 means you need to win by 2
If they win by 1, you'll lose half your stake.

So if you wager 100 and they win by 1, you'll lose 50 bucks. If they win by 2, you'll win whatever price you got.

yes, and for instance if you see -0.5 and -1, that's like this : if they win by 2 or more, u win, if they win by 1, you win only half of your stake.
e.g : u bet 100 bucks on -0.75 @ odd 2.00 and you teams wins 1-0. you will win 150 bucks, so a smaller profite.

I hope anticipated your next question )

The same is available for under/overs

I usually just stick with MLB but every so often I will venture into this forum. These soccer bets have always confused me. I get the over/under but take this bet for example. If I take Estudiantes at -1 how is that any different that Estudiantes at -200? Is -1 a push?

if you only have team x -1 and team y +1 and team x wins by one goal, you get your money back. this type of bet and the ones me and ace of spaed told you before are called asian handicap.
if you also have the option of a draw, you have to bet that team x will win by exaclty 1 goal, but i strongly recommend you to avoid this kind of handicap.
    Good luck

Think of it as a mlb bet with a -1 RL
If the team wins by 1 run , it's a push. More than 1 run win - and you win.

The -1 RL will obviously have better odds than the ML
The same applies to the soccer bet you mentioned.
