CSKA have been good value at home and haven't lost there since July.
United are missing key players - Rooney, Evra, Giggs and Fletcher. Vidic should start but isn't 100%. Same with Berbatov.

Then there's the small matter of the Liverpool game on Sunday. Ferguson would use the squad accordingly ensuring that his priority remains in the league as always. United have an excellent position in this group and it wouldn't be a surprise if they just go through the motions in this game.
