Default Looking ahead to the weekend

Let's try and help each other to a nice weekend. My proposition is that we post our weekend plays/leans at least a day to the game or a good number of hours to the game, so we can have a healthy discourse on them long before gametime. That way, one may eliminate certain plays based on extra information from the forum.

Yes, some of lost on the Ecuador game. But I'll make it back with Costa Rica +270. They're 2-0 up and I don't think they've reached the end of scoring.

As for the weekend, we actually need to post plays early and then deliberate them. We can always do with someone else's help.

lets try to get some plays lined up by tonight so we can deliberate and get input from the board and make the right moves to crush the books this weekend

    My plays this weekend are:

    Everton -1ah
    Blackburn -1ah
    Arsenal -2ah

I think those are 3 very strong plays and the only one i am waiting on is the arsenal bet, but it looks very good for a possible 4-0 win.

Was just about to pm you, my only reasoning for being iffy on it is that there is bugger all value on it. Everton were 11/10, and now Spurs are 8/11 - with pompey off their first win of the season. Don't like it. I'm not saying don't bet it, but i do suggest caution. i wish you luck though if you play it.

I am playing Liverpool to win.

I am also leaning Bolton +1.5 and +2 against ManU Bolton has played decent on the road so far this year so I can see this being a 1 goal game. Haven't decided yet. Might wait all the way until the lineups are up before I decide whether to pull the trigger on this.

What i was thinking though is that sometimes i do overlook obvious winners, but i have never trusted Spurs, they are the Dallas of the PL. They should win though, dam it's annoying

I've got one for Saturday, but am waiting to post it because the chalk on it right now is reasonable - more than I thought it would be. Will post it Friday night in my thread for anyone who cares when I lock it in.

Thanks for bringing them. I'll summarize them all tomorrow, picks by poster, in a thread and we go on from there.

I never look towards weekend on Sat, I have much more to worry about during the week for example hockey and bases.

Sunderland, Genoa, Aston Villa and Fiorentina look promising to me. Valladolid's defense is a major concern and Hoffenheim haven't regained their form of last year.

Tomorrow in Ireland I have a few plays.

    Sligo +.5 and Bohemians +.5.

Bohs being the bigger play, 1.5 X of Sligo.

Sligo needs the points to avoid relegation and are motivated.
Bohs could put the death knell in Cork's history here. Players not getting paid and chance that they will fold next week. Could get ugly.

I'm on the Sunderland play as well. Got it at +.75 and will take that all day long.

Liverpool won't keep a clean sheet against Sunderland

    That's how upsets are brewed!

Haven't heard Gerrard is officially out. Last I read was this...

"Meanwhile, Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres will not train with the rest of Rafa Benitez's squad today.

Instead they will continue to receive treatment for knocks sustained on international duty.

The pair will be assessed again on Friday"

I will wait and see who plays before mkaing my play I guess.
