Italy have qualified already. They'll only show up at the stadium just because they have to. When a team plays with zero motivation, a draw draweth nigh.

Ecuador +145
This is a case of don't ask, don't tell. Chile has qualified. Should Uruguay humiliate Argentina, Chile can "decide" between Ecuador and Argentina, which team should qualify. Don't ask which team they'll prefer. And don't tell.

Ordinarily, Lithuania should have been a home dog of about +400 to +500 against Serbia. So the low line of +220 may as well be indicative of what is to come. The issue is that the name "Serbia" can't win a game. It's players that win a game. Let's not think that any group of 11 Serbian players can beat Lithuania's senior team!

Italy will beat cyprus. The Cypriots stink on the road. Italy is using this game as a free tune-up and players will get the chance to shine.

Like your reasoning. We saw it Saturday/Sunday with England, Ghana, and Brazil among others. Teams already in have little to no incentive to win.

Costa Rica looks like a good bet too. They will be busting their ass while the US will still be partying from their close shave in Honduras. US might be on a little friendlier terms with CRC than HON as well.

i think teams like Chilie and US that qualified just a couple days ago will have more motivation to continue there run then a team thats qualified a couple months back etc where the dust has settled, and they wont want to end the qualification with a loss at home, which is why i stay clear of playing agast US or Chilie , BOL All

The only reason ukraine won that game is because England let them win. Croatia was one of the reasons why england didnt qualify for Euro 2008, and that was payback.

I'm on Slovakia already, still undecided about Ecuador. If the Chilean players really do hate the Argentine players, then no matter what the coach says Chile will lose this game to help knock out Argentina.

I just don't know if that's true.

Right, Ecuador needs to win. Again it comes down to the motivation of the Chilean team. If Ecuador has to be aggressive, under normal circumstances this would be good for the Chileans who like to counterattack.

But if the Chileans are not motivated to win, they will play more passive.

We need to find out from some Chileans if they really want Argentina out!
