Default Denmark - Sweden

WC qualification saturday.

Draw @ 3.2

Denmark is certain to qualify with a win, but they have been lucky in some of their matches, and they haven't played good football.
Sweden cannot afford to loose and will probably go for a win, but Denmark is very tough to beat at home. Sweden can still qualify with a draw.

So draw is acceptable for both teams.

This looks very good to me:

Luxembourg/Switzerland draw +650

It could end in a goalless draw.

Switzerland lost the first game against Luxemburg, so in this crazy group anything happens. In this Group is my country Greece, you know, so i have a clear opinion of the power of the teams and i watched many games.
Switzerland have to win to pass easily and they will book their ticket this Saturday.
They are gonna win by 2 goals or more.

Yes you are right, Switzerland lost to Luxemburg. I didn't remember that.
Well, if they can't beat Luxemburg in two tries, I think Switzerland must stay home
if they qualify to the WC :-)

I just looked a bit closer on the situation in Group 1.
Sweden can't really live with a draw against Denmark. It's
expected that Portugal beat Hungary at home, and Portugal have Malta
at home in the last game, and Sweden has Albania.

So the likely scenario with a draw against Denmark is that Sweden and Portugal
will end with 19 points. The goal difference before the two last games is +6 for Sweden and
+5 for Portugal. So with Portugal win, Portugal's goal difference will be at least a par with
Sweden's before the last game.

Conclusion: Sweden must go for a win against Denmark.
Naturally, Denmark will not go down without a fight, so I expect a very entertaining match !

He has taken Sweden to five straight championships, that's quite incredible.

And then what? He dont let the new generation play, he now have Henrik Larsson back in again!

I think the fact that you need to be over 30 years old to play for him makes him a very bad person for the future, but thats just me..

He have made his time, its time for change..

I don't think a draw for Sweden would be very good for them, I believe they need a win. If Sweden draws this one and beats Albania, while Portugal wins both their final 2 games then both sides will finish level on points. Portugal is 1 behind Sweden in goal difference but if they beat Hungary by the minimum 1 goal margin and Sweden draws then their goal difference will be level with 1 game left to play. Portugal has the easier final game vs Malta so Portugal would be in the driving seat to get that 2nd place if Sweden only draws with Denmark.

Therefore, I expect Sweden to be doing everything in their power to try and win this game, 3 points is vital for their hopes of finishing 2nd.

Sweden tried but they weren't good enough. Close match with only one goal to Denmark.
